Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think @oldfool was downing Graham or taking away from their victory by saying Goochland wasn't a good team. He was just saying that Goochland may have been a little overhyped and felt that Graham would win easily...which they did. Before the game, I basically said the same thing...just in a different way.

Graham was clearly the best team in 2A by seasons end. I dont think it would have mattered who they faced in the finals.

I wouldn’t say that. They have 2 state championships in football to my knowledge. And they have made it deep in the playoffs the past few seasons. They have lost to better teams. Graham was simply better than Goochland, just like Appomattox was in 2016.
