GC JOKER

Why is it that everyone keeps talking about advertising for a head coaching position. As I have said before the only way Akers leaves is if he quits and there is not a real demand for drivers ed teachers. The School Board showed their support for him this past season and with county election not until next November. I`m afraid this nightmare will continue for at least 1 more year.

As bad as Akers may be, he is not the only scorched kernel of corn in the pot. The players don't like Akers and the fans don`t either but its another coach that they hate and that one will be the reason kids don't come out next year.

Fortunately we have an innovate young coach and a talented administration. Battle 63 GC 0 What we have is $250,000 invested in an 0-8 team and will most likely be an 0-9 team come later tonight. It is quite evident that our astute coach cares about no one on the sidelines but himself. People say lets give him a few more years. FOR WHAT! As the coach likes to tell the players before a few of the games, don't embarrass us tonight. Coach don't embarrass the players and the fans any more than you already have! I guess since Akers lives in Bristol, he`ll not ride to bus home and have the driver drop him off at his house.

I didn't realize I would generate so much intrigue in the football world. Sorry but Im not a school employee, I am no body else on here, just me. As for as an IP address, what is an IP address and how to I change it.

The only thing I`m sure about is if he don't quit we wont have enough players next year to play a full game.

Well Well Well, As mighty as the Gate City fans may be, We can not put all the blame on the AD or as far as that goes I don't see you can put any blame. First he is just the AD not the principle or the SB. With that being said our SB and BOARD CHAIRMAN are not going to do anything to correct GC`s problem. They don't won't to admit they made a bad hire, probably the only one they could have made outside the school system. Right now GC is a coaches graveyard. and the only way the problem gets better is if Akers QUITS. Which is not going to happen.
