A lot of TN residents shop in VA and are taxed for it. I was born and raised in VA. Something I remember very well years ago when I was a Kid... Pay close attention.... the County was imposing a County Tax on Vehicles, that is that wonderful sticker with the Mountains they made us plaster in the Windshield. The County said that this was to be used to Build the Middle School and nothing else and they also said that once the School was built then they would take this Tax away. My Dad was furious so he went to a Meeting the County was having in Gate City, He took me along, I was very young, so I did not understand a lot of what was said in that Meeting but, one thing stood out clear as day.... My Dad (GOD Rest His Soul) finally stood up and said and I quote He said. "If you approve this Tax, it will NEVER go away. Years after the Middle School is finished you will continue taxing us forever." As I sit here today people over there are still paying this Tax. You will pay it until they have to rebuild that Middle School long after some of us are gone too. We including myself has paid for that School to be built 10 times.

I guess this solves the Tennessee Tagged Vehicles in the Parking lot mystery, because this is what it is for the most part. I'm one of them.

Most of the Tennessee Kids that go to School at Gate City had Parents that lived in VA and bring there Kids to School there because they themselves went to GC. Now that North will be closing in the Future there will be more GC Parents who sent their Kids to TN come back to GC. About 70% or more GC Grads move to TN eventually to avoid the VA State Tax.

LOL I hope River Ridge is the only team that beats GC this year. That would be a good thing for the Blue Devils.

Does anyone know what radio station carries Glenvar Games and if they have internet radio?

Hey, can anyone tell me which radio station in Salem is covering the Game? I plan on trying to listen on internet Radio since I will not be able to drive up for the Game. Thanks
