Week 2 with some interesting games and match ups. Interesting was Uncle Percy (Bucket List) wanting to go look for "Big Foot". So we went, Uncle Percy picked the State of Washington, their rainforest, that right they have a rain forest, believe it or not but Uncle Percy was right. Uncle Percy is stalking for The Big Foot when he hears a loud, loud noise coming from behind some bushes. He was smiling like he had hit the Lottery. He sneaks up to the bushes to get a peek. But then, as Cousin Hoyt would say, "Not Toooo Good". Uncle Percy trips over a root, falls through the Bushes, lands on top of 2 porcupines a "courtin' ". So much for hunting Big Foot and never mess with 2 porcupines a "courtin'. The Games: Lee @ Lebanon Last week the Lee Generals had to try and defend against a bunch raiding Vikings. The General's Defensive strategy was no match for this wild bunch of Vikings who took a win back to Bristol, TN. The Russell Co. Long Rifles had a much better week. They went on a Tiger Hunt and were very successful as they bagged several Tiger skins. This week The Generals will regroup and try to invade Long Rifle Country hoping to surprise them still celebrating their successful Tiger Hunt and get out with a win. Their sneak attack will fail as they run into a Hornet's nest of prepared Long Riflemen. Look for the Long Rifles to put a severe stingin' on the Generals. LOSER: THE GENERALS Eastern Montgomery @ The Cliff The last time The Mustangs rode into Rebel Territory they were to swift for The Rebels to corral and lasso them. The Mustangs were able to ride away with a playoff victory and the Rebel Flag. The Mustangs lost last week and will be reshod and will be riding hard to The Cliff looking for a win. The Rebels are coming off a week 1 victory. The Rebels lost 3 big offensive hosses off their high scoring offense from last year. However, this time The Rebels will have enough rope to lasso The Mustangs and corral them into the corner of The Cliff. LOSER: EASTERN MONTGOMERY Central-Wise @ Grundy Finally, THE LUKE has came back to Grundy. The Luke will also be bringing along a bunch of Savage Warriors with him that just love to run over people. While The Warriors ran over Eastside last week, The Slate Crik Boys lost to The Clincho Ridge Runners. This will not be a Good Friday for The Slate Crik Crawdads, excuse me, Uncle Percy said to be Politically Correct ( California/The Bucket List) Slate Crik Crayfish. This week the Crayfish do not have a 6' 7" receiver to throw to like Eastside or the horses to stop The Warriors ground attack. The Crayfish will become The Preyfish as THE LUKE and his WILD WARRIORS roll over them. LOSER: GRUNDY RICHLANDS @ UNION Not very often do you get a "THE GAME" 2 weeks in a row. Last week The Beavers of WV pulled out a 17 -14 win over Graham. This Week it's The Big Blue Win Machine of Richlands and The Bears of Union. This Game has became one of best rivalries in The History of SW Virginia Football. The Big Blue Win Machine will be rolling into Bullitt Park at full force to give Coach Mance A big victory. However, The BBWM are going to run into a bunch of ferocious High Knob Bears who have been sharpening their claws all week for this one. Both teams are coming off wins over old rivals Gate City and J. I. Burton. This Friday, look for the bear fur to fly and the wind blades to be wrapped in another classic showdown between two of the best. Once again, this may come down to who has the ball last. Uncle Percy says that the Entire VHSL is intellectual challenged (His California Political Correctness Class may be helping some), if someone had handed them the winning ticket from last night's Power Ball Lottery, they would have shredded it.

We're back and ready to do some pickin'. But first, as you know, we've been gone. The reason, Uncle Percy and his Bucket List. Surprised me too. We saw a lot of crazy things and people, but nothing as crazy as what's been going on with VHSL Playoffs, Tazewell High, Bu-chan-an County (Uncle Percy took a political correctness class in California), and other wild doings and rumors. Uncle Percy says that we go on a trip and the VHSL screws things up worst than before. As Uncle says, never trust anything that has VHSL being used. RYE COVE @ HURLEY We hear that last year was a big cannon boom for The Rebels and another down year for the War Eagles. We hear that the Rebs lost a lot of their fire power from last year. However, for this battle the Rebs will more than enough firepower for these War Eagles. Look for the feathers to being flying around like at a Saturday Night Kentucky Chicken Fight. The Eagles will not break their losing streak at The Cliff. Loser: RYE COVE Is it true or rumor that a former Grundy head defensive coach and another Slate Crik coach are coaching at Hurley? GATE CITY @ RICHLANDS Another is it true or rumor. We get back and hear that this could be Coach Mance's last year at the helm of the BIG BLUE WIN MACHINE. If so, THE BBWM will get er cranked up and be at full wind force this Friday. As usual, The BLUE DEVILS will bring their A-GAME to R-TOWN thinking about sneaking a win back to THE DEVIL'S DEN, since the BBWM lost some Big Hosses from last year's team. However, these IMPS are in for a BIG SURPRISE, the BBWM is reloaded and will be at full force. Before this is over, these Devils will be wishing that they had wings so they could get out of DODGE as quick as possible after this tussle. LOSER: GATE CITY TWIN VALLEY @ JENKINS, KY After crossing 6 MOUNTAINS and 5 Rivers The P Knob Cats get to play on an uphill slanted field in a semi-hole. This is no Rumor or Tall Tale folks, BUT THE TRUTH. You play 2 Quarters going DOWNHILL and 2 going UPHILL. Crazy but True. However, The Kentucky Cavaliers will find themselves going uphill all night and The P Knob Cats will be going downhill all night like a runway train. CHILHOWIE @ MARION FINALLY, after all the VHSL craziness, rumors, etc. that happened while we were away, SOMETHING NORMAL. As usual, the Warriors and Candy Canes will be kicking off the Smyth County Braggin' Rights Contest. Both teams we being doing a bunch of trash talking, trying to knock off the other's shoulder chip off, jaw smackin' contest.
