I agree, any of these 8 teams could make it, it just depends on who has the hotter hands that night. I feel all of these teams are all within 10 points of each other either way on any given night.

Here's my predictions: GC, Graham, VA High, Union.

Union has proved me wrong. I didn't expect the performances they have shown Friday & Saturday. -Friday night they played Mount Mission (5-2 at the time) @ UVA Wise. The Bears come in with zero games under their belt and only had 9 practices. Bears win 78-75 Saturday night Sullivan East (5-3) came to the Bear Den. Dreaded this one, knowing they had dead legs. Bears were down 18-0 at the end of 1st quarter. Yes, Zero. Bears win 58-53 Paul Huff will be back on the court this week or next, and hopefully Bunch's injury isn't as bad as they think and he will be cleared to play.

I went to the game yesterday, just as a general football fan, pulling for neither team. But my god, I could not be a fan of RiverHeads. What a stale offense. Obviously it works, but it's so monotonous it's mind numbing.

And this isn't home craft days, they don't run a shuttle for the games. Your best bet will be to show up before 12 if you want a decent parking spot for this one. Before 10 and wait at the ticket booth if you want to park inside the park.

I just hope TS wins. im so tired of hearing the Rye Cove hype BS.

You all are exactly right. O’Quinn & Honaker are 75%+ of Ridgeview’s offense that played @ Union, but were on the bench today.

I think VH is better than their record indicates. Just a few tough breaks along the way. I still think (& hope) Union dominates this game on both sides of the ball. 41-14

I assume maybe because of the weather on Friday. Maybe also so they can draw in extra crowds for the other nearby games on Friday and Saturday? Who knows.

100%. Lee has a decent QB, but their line play is terrible. This one will be over early, and I mean early.

I think Graham wins this one easily. on a side note, how is Clements coming along? I love this post. Not only you speaking out about it, but for a kid who doesn’t think his status of a football player is better than a band member. I’ve always been a fan of music, never was a band member, BUT, music is a very hard skill to learn. Now on top of learning how to play music, you have to learn how to read music, then memorize it, then learn the marching formations, movements etc. now let’s put it all together. a lot of people don’t give band members credit. Those kids put in WORK!
