John Marshall beat a good 2A Radford team 91-34 last year in the title game, so there is no way anyone stays within 50 this year.  They don't let up.

What needs to grow?  This tourney serves the purpose it was intended for, to provide local teams and local fans a holiday tournament against regional competition in a facility that is second to none.

I'd say the best game of the season hasn't been played as of November 21.

They've issued a statement regarding the cancellation, lack of participation and logistics involving football game being moved to Saturday. They're going to do something at halftime for veterans. Princeton is having veterans parade on Saturday at 11am & game at 1:30pm. It's not impossible to do both. They definitely should have clarified from the beginning & it would have saved them a lot of trouble probably.

He did turn it down. Eastside seems to be on the rise, so I don't see him leaving.

I'm watching this Rye Cove at Twin Springs game on the NFHS network, and the PA announcer is clearly doing play-by-play, even encouraging the Titans.  That's not legal by VHSL rules is it?

Winning was the by-product of how Cummins coached. If you do things right, winning will take care of itself. During his coaching days, the LPD gave a sportsmanship award each year, and his teams consistently won that award. The type of behavior that goes on today would not have happened when he coached, gotta respect that more than anything else his teams accomplished.

He retired from teaching a couple of years ago, has to be frustrating playing JM after you're used to winning ships.

Except the fan wasn’t sitting in the stands. He left the stands and was leaning across the bench yelling and pointing, etc. He was nearly on the court. It’s not like Rife went up in the stands after him. 

If even one game in the state playoffs is broadcast on the NFHS, the VHSL should require all games to be.

Beginning next school year, VHSL is changing the way they calculate ADM. They will no longer be counting the senior class. They will only count grades 9-11.

I've never personally been part of  a team or seen a team with such discipline issues on a weekly basis.  You've got veterans on the field getting 15 yard penalties for stupid things.  That does fall on the coaching.  Pull them out! Let them sit a quarter,  then the rest of the game if need be.  Starter or not,  teach them how to respect the game,  opponents, teammates, and themselves. It's not a good look and is shamefully tolerated.  Good game,  minus the chippy bull crap.  I thought everyone saved that for wise? Bahahaha good luck the rest of the way. Playoff pairings are going to be very interesting now.
