  1. Holy hell this one caster doesn't have that much of a vocabulary and can't really articulate his thoughts that well. Can they not find someone else? It seems that the NFHS Network is a little behind the updates on the board.
  2. After watching the first quarter, it's clear that CHS can't run on Riverheads at all. The only success they had was scrambling by the QB. On the other side of the ball, the misdirections and option runs are killing chs. Chilhowie is spending too much time on defense. I do want to point out the depth is probably hurting them too. You can probably rely on the same 3 players to get you through the regular season, but at this level, other people would need to step up. Riverheads has 80 players on their roster with CHS only having 46. Also Riverheads defense is clearly more disciplined after that last season trick play that was picked off to end the half. CHS under threw the ball into 2 man coverage anyways..,
  3. http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/events/vhsl/66bfe8e397 You'll have to pay $10 but it's worth.
  4. Mcclung is committed to Georgetown so we will get to see later on if he can handle D1 talent as everyone is questioning. Edit: Also wanted to mention JJ Reddick who went to Cave Springs in Roanoke. Is that considered SWVA?
  5. I'm a CHS alumni and I can be realistic and say that Riverheads will win by 3+ TD. Chilhowie doesn't have the depth or the size like they do. Riverheads are playing against far more superior teams throughout the season. As someone else mentioned, Chilhowie got some lucky turnovers against Galax. Also, go ahead and commit 10 penalties in a state game and see what happens. I wish I could make the trip to Salem to support them and it would be cool that they win, but they will not.
