Trenton is Definitely not going to Crockett or any NETN Team unless that was Greenville. If he does leave he needs to go to a School with Top Notch Level Coaching that will help get him to be ready to come into college ready to contribute. Preferably guys who have played at a High Level with the type of Knowledge of the Game that will take him to another level as a player. He also needs to be some where that's gonna make him grow academically and get him ready for the academic side of this Football Life.

Greeneville is a different breed they work like NO other HS Program I have ever seen!!!! They are just to strong at every position physically, on top of beimh Very Talented and then they are coached up soo technically sound. They also have Ws over 2 6A programs and can compete with probably Maryville Alcoa and Whitehaven for the BEST overall program in the Whole State. I would love to see the Match Up and See how it plays out they really probably could get it scheduled because Gville has trouble finding close quality games.

Sorry HDevil thought you were talking about the Richlands game. They held him to 100 but he still have a solid showing. Yes Sexton did his thing against Union and yes they are way way better when Sexton and Adkins are both balancing touches. Definitely got to pretty trying to get Sexton the ball especially the Richlands game. What are the rumors on Rose Ridge???

Adkins was the reason they were in the ball game. Mullins has got to get a better OC. One of TA's 1st couples carries he took it 70 on a sweep didn't get hin back on the edges till late and what do you know he broke another one for 50. They tried to be to pretty when they tried to put the ball in Sextons hands.

The only way I can see him leaving to play somewhere else is if he is going to get a higher level and more technical coaching & training & college ready academic schedule to get ready for what he will encounter at next level lIke a IMG. If not I would stay put at RV they have great facilities, good coaching, and talent to be pretty decent for the next 2 years.

RV play calling was pretty bad on both sides of the ball. Adkins got on the edge his prob 3Rd carey of the game and it went for 6 they never attempted to get him back outside till late in the 3rd or 4th Quater and once again he hit another home run it wasn't rocket science. Sexton didnt get enough touches he touched the ball maybe a total of 12 times. When they did try to get him the ball they were trying to be to pretty like on the backwards pass for a fumble. They killed themselves turning the ball over in the red zone twice as well. It really Hurt losing Sproles and Hensley especially on the Defensive side. They made no type of adjustments on D and looked like they were in cover 0 a lot and were still getting ran on. They weren't playing with leverage and there was no one setting the edge to turn the play back into help. When it's comes Playoff Time records go out the window and it's who shows up and Executes Best on that given day.

I've heard the same GS will bring a complete change of culture. I think he would do great things at GC.

I know a name or two who maybe applying for the job. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

College football coaches want their recruits to multi sport athletes. They look for that when a lot are recruiting kids.

I feel like they need to start Blevins at QB.

Adkins has put up some pretty decent numbers thru 8 weeks. I'd say Cam will win it but I can't think of anyone that's put up the type of numbers those 2 have in 2D. But you guys know better than I do. Trenton has carried it 153 times for 1,256 Yds 17 TDs & at least 300 Yds Rec and like 4 TDs. That's an average of 19 carries a game 157 Yds rushing pg

I think Abingdon has some weapons on offense to test Ridgeview. Mullins will ground and pound control the clock and keep the Abingdon O off the field. If RV can exacute in all 3 Phases of the game not turn the ball over and killing themselves with penalties they handle Abingdon. I really like Abingdon RB a lot very talented! The kid reminds me a lot of Trenton Adkins wanna see how he does Friday night.

Greeneville will have their way with Elizabethtown Friday!!! Cyclones are a great team #3 in 4A but Greeneville is just that much better then everyone. If anyone gets a shot to come watch Greeneville go do sof they have a very special group there that will be gone after this year.

SWVA is becoming it's own little Recruiting Hotbed!!!! 5 Kids with Major P5 offers if you include Bluefield so far and about 4 or 5 others will have FBS and FCS before it's over. Tazewell has a O-Lineman that could get P5 offers I'd also say Chancellor will atleast have a FBS offer and Sage Webb will be at Top 100 player next year.

Yes the SWVA and SWV areas are loaded with talent!!!!! Those are the 1st of many big offers for those guys.

Tazewell has a Ton of Young talent in my eyes I'd say at least a couple D1 prospects. Give them a year or two and watch out. Graham probably still get the W.

247Sports dropped the 1st rankings for the 2021 Class and 2 of the areas own made the cut. Coming in with a lot of star power Isaiah Johnson is rated a 4* and the #7 Overall Nationally #1 CB & #1 in WV. Trenton Adkins comes in as a 4* #63 Nationally #3 ATH & #3 in VA. Great to see these guys having sucess early on and representing the area at a high level. What has everyone so high on Ridgeview this preseason? Can they live up to the hype and expectations after last season were they seemed to be one of the Biggest surprises in SWVA?

If I was Coach Mullins I would move Trenton to QB and Sproles to RB and any where else you can get him the ball. Having Adkins at QB you have your best Athlete touching the ball every snap and id say hes a capable thrower too.Plus you will be able to build the Offense around him for the next 3 years instead of having to find a new QB every year.
