  1. When Aaron Edwards and Riley came on board it was a huge boast to the Graham defense, plus it allowed Reed to just play on the offensive side of the ball, Reed run well and also is a good receiver as you could see in the game against Radford. Allen is playing lights out and now has confidence in other receivers besides Lester. I saw Graham in a scrimmage game against Glenvar and they basically where beaten by two touchdowns and I for sure thought it was going to be a long season for the G-MEN, boy was I wrong, never seen a team improve and jell like this team! Taken Graham over Goochland by 7!
  2. Agree with your post, Edwards playing LB, allows Reed to just play offense which makes him lots better because I don't believe he is in shape to play both ways! Edwards, a true diamond in the rough, more vocal than others and what this team needed! Likewise, never seen a Graham team improve as much as this team and seemed to more focused and enjoying the moment. The coaches have done a fantastic job of coaching!
  3. Without a doubt Graham and Cam Allen played the best game they have played all year, Allen throwing TD passes to four different receivers, almost unheard of in high school, plus with addition of Edwards and Riley the defense is playing very good. Next weeks opponent, Goochland will be a very tough team to beat, good size, speed, well coached, undefeated, and went on the road and won in their semi-final game! Graham had a very lively crowd against Radford and will need the same support next week in Salem!
  4. After the 5th game of the season Graham became a much better football, this was due to a starting lineman, Riley getting cleared to play after shoulder issues from wrestling. Plus, Graham received a true gift of a football player by the name of Aaron Edwards. Aaron moved/transferred to Graham from a hapless program at Princeton, WV. He was the best football player on their team and the spark that Graham needed. With Edwards starting at LB it made it possible for RB Reed to have to play only on the offensive side of the ball. Reed is a big kid and possibly a little overweight and he is a ton to tackle! If Graham gains control sometime early in the ball game look for Reed and Booker to get behind the Graham offensive line and pound the ball! Although Coach Palmer is known to let it rip at anytime!
