They made it to the state semis in '05 in D2, I think that's the year they're talking about. Clintwood probably won't be the favorite after this year though with all that they are losing and Burton may be the same? As far as Burton "will never be down", all schools go through that, and Burton has been down before. A few good years in a row doesn't mean they'll be great from here on out now. Win 6 state titles??? :D lol

Nah, starters played for Haysi. at least some of them did (but from what I understand now some may have sat out the second half). Struggled with the passing game some. Maybe weather played a little role in that, I think Lee did a good job defending it too. Of course, they're already in the playoffs and have everythng set there, so... Lee just stuck to their game. I thought they'd beat them...seems they've had their number over the past few years. I'm sure they would like to have that Lebanon game over again, haha.

Dickenson Co. went for McCain too, by about 40. The only from Lee to the Augusta-Pittsylvania line to go Obama was Montgomery Co. Looking at the map on CNN, Obama got the key, big NOVA counties like Loudon and Fairfax, still a pretty good portion went for McCain though. A win by Lebanon over Tazewell, along with a Haysi win over Kelly and a Lee win over Haysi coud leave Lebanon and Kelly tied for 2nd, correct? Who has the tiebreaker there? Nevermind...had an extra point in there...

Unless Lebanon beats Tazewell, they should be playing Lebanon in the 1st round.
