Global warming is real, unless you're talking about the "global warming" theory Al Gore supports, that's what the debate is. Global warming, as in the earth's average temp. increase, that's real. Personally, I think it's a natural warming cycle in which will eventually come back down. Do I think we could be helping in the rapid increase? Sure, that's certainly possible. But I don't agree with the way the media portrays some of it currently. The climate is indeed warming, it is changing, no doubt about any of that.

When Hall was briefly out of the game on Saturday, it was walk-on Jonas Houseright who replaced him. Bud Foster apparently trusts Houseright in coverage moreso than Warren. [/ QUOTE ] 5 schools combined to form Lee High. You may be forgetting, but remember, three of the schools were Dryden, Keokee, and Flatwoods. Even had St. Charles not long before that. Lee had to go through with it. The only other alternative was to have two schools instead of one. I'm not sure how much Thomas Walker not wanting a part in the consolidation had to with not going through with that though. Had nothing to do with athletics. From what I understand the issue of travel was not always a concern, because it wasn't like this when Lee opened. The issue has just come up in recent years. And of course we know others have to come here. But everyone tries that one, don't know why either, never works.

Doesn't say exactly where but the Kingsport paper said there are reports being investigated in the Cumberland Plateau Health Districts. A third case has been confirmed in the Lenowisco Health district (Lee, Wise, Scott, City of Norton) to go along with the two in Appy, making it a "outbreak" status. Apparently two in the Cumberland Plateau district are in Dickenson County and another in Tazewell from what I gather, but they don't say where in Tazewell County. Hmmm. I always thought it was something like the '04 Powell Valley/Lee High game (75-22 was the final).
