If Marion wants to stop Union they need to switch out of the 3-4. Union is run first pass second. I think if you force Union to throw then Marion has a chance to at least keep it close if not win.

Marion played a team with a good record and couldn't get it donE after a bye week.

I have seen alot of talk on here and in the news about Marion and their 8-0 record, I admit been unbeaten at this time of year Is good but what's the records of the teams they have beat? How many teams have they played with a winning record?

I have seen Marion play several times this year and last night was the worse I seen them play. They never had it together at all. Seem like the kids wasn't even waiting to be there. Not sure what was going on but it wasn't the team that played all the other 9 games. I think it could be a close game but marion needs to be mentally ready I don't think they was last night. They couldn't even put a drive together against the second team.

Was VA High passing game that bad or was Marion pass defense that good?

This game will depend on if AHS can stop Marion running attack or if Marion can stop AHS air attack. AHS run defense is poor look at Graham and Tazewell game. Not sure on Marion pass defense but AHS has shown they can score by passing. This will be a close game that could go either way this may be the game of the week.

Just wondering how these teams are doing this year. Yes I know you cant judge the program based on these teams but its good to hear what teams have done well this year.

Ahs defense can't slow down Richlands. The defense hasn't slowed any team with a good offense down this year. If the offense isn't putting 40+ points up on teams then they struggle. I don't see Ahs putting 40 points on Richlands.Both teams are similar but Richlands just has to many players in to many spots for Ahs to defend.

After watching the Blacksburg and Graham game I really don't think Abingdon can hang with Richlands

If Sturgill not 100% next week AHS don't even need to show up,their defense won't slow Richlands down as it is.

Why so many players not dressed for Richlands?

Overall who has played a tougher schedule

Abingdons defense is their biggest problem, poor tackling and not getting enough players to the ball.
