Are there any schools (not counting recently-consolidated ones) in the Herald Courier coverage area that are winless in the playoffs? Jason 299 Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 In 1923 the Wise county league was formed and Big Stone won that Title with a record of 4-1. The Wise county league would last until 1946 with Norton winning it with a record of 8-1. 1947 is when District 8 was formed from the Wise county league adding Clintwood in with the Wise county teams. HAHAHA were keeping it under wraps this year lol Haysi lost QB, 1 WR and a couple of Linemen. This years QB should be an upgrade (much, much better runner), the WRs coming back all saw a lot of playing time last year and should be solid as a group, and the linemen should be ok.
