Ryan4VT 4,550 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 So it's week 1 of the NFL season. Who does everyone have to go all the way? Take your pick, and let's see who (if anyone) is right in February. I'll go first. I'm taking the Seahawks over my Colts. No, I'm not being a homer. I honestly believe we are on our way to a SB berth. We have a top QB in Luck, great WRs in Hilton, Wayne, Nicks. Two amazing TEs in Fleenor and Allen. All we need is for Richardson to come into his own at RB. Our Defense is the weak spot, but I believe our offense can keep us in games until they come around. I don't need to say a word about Seattle. Your turn.

legend11 32 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 Rams vs. patriots The Rams D will hold all opponents to less than 12 points a game. That will leave the offense with not too difficult of a task, but after week three it will become obvious that Shaun Hill can't get the job done and the Rams will bring in Tim Tebow. Tebow will lay it all on the line for one season, and lead the Rams to a wild card spot, where they'll blow through the playoffs to the Super Bowl. The Patriots will just score 45 points a game, and call it good.

techfan 43 Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 I think everyone may be playing for second place. Seattle defense beats whomever they play but I have a bad feeling it'll be New England that they beat in this Super Bowl.

sixcat 2,919 Report Share Posted September 23, 2014 Chargers vs. Seahawks Chargers could have been in this position several years ago if they hadn't made the bonehead move of the 2000's and fired Marty Shottenheimer in favor of Norv Turner. Like I said in another forum about Bud Foster, Turner is a great #2, not a #1 at all! I like where they are going now though. Mike McCoy is as quality a head coach as there is in the NFL and Frank Reich is an excellent OC.

BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 techfan hit it on the head, but its not like it was a risky preseason pick lol but still its awesome to pick something pre-season and have it come to fruition. In the game, its gonna be tough for NE's athletically challenged WRs outside of Gronk and Lafell to get open, and the NE OL to hold up against the Seattle pass rush. The NE corners can cover the Seattle WRs for the most part, but accounting for the huge chunk plays on scrambles by Wilson could decide the game. It will be of utmost importance for the Pats that if they go man coverage to have a spy on Wilson and stress that DBs play the WRs at all times and do not let their eyes wander. Zone can help, but it also somewhat neutralizes their best defensive weapon in Revis. The NE linebackers have been great dealing with Mayo's injury, Hightower is a legit ILB (and big and strong enough to tackle Lynch in the hole) and Collins is a versatile weapon like Vrabel or Adalius Thomas used to be for them. The key matchup is likely the NE front stopping Seattle from imposing their run game. Theres no way NE can count on Wilson throwing so many picks and play so poorly like he did in the GB game, but its also not in Seattle which makes them more vulnerable. But if Seattle can implement their will and run the ball, it will be tough for NE to control the ball long enough to match them in points and possessions to win. Vince Wilfork, Chandler Jones, and Hightower are absolutely key to stopping the run and forcing Seattle to make long third downs. I'm rooting for a 28-24 New England win (I am a Niners fan, fuck Seattle), but a Seattle win is not a surprising outcome.
Hacker 82 Report Share Posted January 22, 2015 3 more major scandals and a sucky half time show. Looks like all I need is for Katy Perry to suck, and I am golden. BTW, her costumes will be sexy and she will look amazing; but her music will reek. I am looking forward to Kam inroducing himself to Gronk. That will be a collision. BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted January 22, 2015 If Kam does not have a head of steam man, Gronk is capable of steam rolling him. But if KC has a running start, he can lay some major hits on Gronk. But can he cover him on routes? KC isnt the most technical guy, Gronk can use his body well to shield defenders and box out and get catches, esp in the red zone.

The real question: could UK Men's Basketball beat the 24 best NFL players in the history of the game, by position, including K/P. Answer: ABSOLUTELY!!! Yeah, Katy Perry will not appeal to my demographich musically so that was easy. After watching "The Interview" on Friday, her song "Fireworks" takes on a whole new connotation for me.
