redtiger 1,739 Report Share Posted September 28, 2014 So last year we(my Mother and me) were thinking about how to preserve Paw Paws. I love them but they are gone quick. She made some Paw Paw butter(same process as Apple Butter) and it turned out pretty good, a little heavy on the sugar(we will fix that with the next batch). Anyone else have any success preserving them? We thought maybe freezing them but didnt know if it would work out. Gonna try Paw Paw Bread too(gonna use a Banana Bread recipe). ThomasDenton 79 Report Share Posted September 28, 2014 That's awesome. I first tried paw paws a couple of years ago and found out there's only a few in my family that even like them. I've told people I work with about them (one guy from Ohio who'd never heard of them), but really didn't know of a good way to preserve them so they could try it. Let me know if you have any success with your new batch this year.
