Richlands @ Union Predictions

We've all discussed our thoughts on this game.....but we haven't really threw out any predictions. So let's hear it.... lay down the spread. I'm gonna say:

Union- 40

RHS- 35

Union misses a few extra points and leaves the door open for the Blues to win it in a final drive but they come up short.

I could just as easily pick Richlands as the winner and it being the other way around. I'll probably change my mind a dozen times this week

Whether it be low or high scoring it's a general consensus that it's gonna be a close game! Is there anyone that feels it could possibly be a blowout at all?

Yes.

Union 42

Richlands 2

Safety comes from a snap that goes through the Union punter's fingers because they are greasy from eating a bucket of KFC on the sideline all night due to inactivity.

I kid, I kid, put away the tar and feathers. ;)

I'm expecting a 35-28 game. I just don't have a clue who will have the 35, but I should say Union right? OK, Union 35 Richlands 28.

I think people are overlooking Richlands defense.  Top to bottom may be one of the best ever fielded in Richlands.  So far from what I have seen, our corners are really.......and I mean REALLY good.  Atkinson is like glue.  I don't see Union scoring more than 14-17 points, if that.  No disrespect to Union, that is just my opinion.  I think after the last two games with Union, Mance will work on dropping the guillotine on the Bears if we get up on them.  I think these are the best two teams in 2A west and possibly in 2A period.  I can't say enough about Bryce Wade.  Killer on the field while being one of the most humble and polite kids that I have ever been around.  Get there early.  This may be one of the most anticipated matchups in Bullit Park's history and that is saying something.

Both defenses could be great....but it's hard to tell if the offensive power at the WR position could possibly nullify the D completely for both teams and it just turn into a score fest. Or the defenses skill set could completely shut down the young QBs and the team with the best running game could walk away with the W in a very low scoring match. But something in my heart tells me this game is gonna have fireworks....not your typical low scoring LSU vs. Bama battle of the trenches if you will

This could be among the best games in Bullitt Park. Up there with 97 PV and Appalachia, 89 Division 2 State Championship between Powell Valley and Lunenburg Central?

slow down big fella  If these teams both make big playoff runs then maybe but right now I would say no. Big game but Bullitt has hosted a lot of big ones
