Both teams coming off open weeks, lee has revenge on their mind for the absolute debacle last year. I'm sure Union wants to prove a point. Union_Fan 2,154 Report Share Posted October 5, 2015 Union has always struggled with a running QB and a physical RB. They proved the QB vulnerability against GC. If #45 is running for Lee Union will stuggle. Stop him, stop Lee. Otherwise, Union had better score quickly and on every possession because Lee with have the ball for long time-consuming drives. Lee is good, but maybe a bit too one dimensional to beat Union this year. But Lee will be up for this game so they could keep it close for most of the game, but in the end, Union wins. Would we like to win YES we would but if not it's on to the next one.The past is the past! No bad blood here! We're just a bunch of kids that love the game and love to entertain our fans and make money for the rest of the sports. Prayers for both sides for no injuries. West12aaa 99 Report Share Posted October 9, 2015 I was very impressed with Lee's D tonight definitely played extremely well when the game was on the line. Their energy left them after it was 14-0 However, If lee high plans on winning another game a change at offensive coordinator is overdue. The offensive playcalling was beyond pathetic. He has not adjusted to his players nor has he giving his players the chances to make plays. I am very displeased with the incompetence shown on that side of the ball. Very disappointed in how bad Lee looked. I expected a very competitive game with some fierce hitting but I think that was the same team that beat our 8th graders Monday night. Coach Martin needs to let him be the water boy. 9 men in the box, no passing game, and we still block with 5 and give to the back. He is hit before he looks up. Give the kids a chance to succeed or resign. This team is better than Johnson let's th be, Ty Harbor and the school board will never allow Martin to fire him but damn let him polish helmets and line the field, but get him away from anything to do with coaching. This team has good looking kids but are not being allowed to play to their potential because the coaches Systems do not fit the players. Union_Fan 2,154 Report Share Posted October 9, 2015 #45 played lights out on defensive. Very good instincts. Wasn't as effective on offense as I expected, but if you have no blocking... After the first couple of series, after Union got adjusted to the Kamikaze blitzing, they pretty much had their way on offense. Union held Lee to 42 TOTAL yards of offense. redtiger 1,740 Report Share Posted October 9, 2015 On offense he gets by on power and aggressiveness, not ball carrying ability but he is a REALLY good LB. 2nd best ive seen this season. I thought the Offensive play calling of Lee was pretty good against Rv, they did seem to lack WR screens which are a staple of Spread teams and are necessary when the D is stacking the box. Beamerball, I work with a lot of people who say Lee would be a lot better off just lining up and running a power run Offense. Personally I didn't see the TEs on the team to do that and as much as the General D depends on #45 I don't think you want him leading the way at FB 30 times a game.
