I chose to do the Mountain,Cumberland, BD, and Hogo districts plainly because they are the ones i know. If somebody wants to add to this with the district they know better it would be great! I based this off of schedule from last year (This uses no schedule changes -- No new teams added), last years results, and returning player information from Maxpreps. sixcat 2,918 Report Share Posted February 8, 2016 Losing Spurlin, Harris and Echegaray will hurt but they return just about everything else including an incredible line. Currently, from 7th grade through 10th grade, Galax is loaded with talent. The next few years are going to be one hell of a ride in my opinion. Richlands by 1? I'm not too awful worried about the offense. It's the defense. That's week two, and we will have almost a completely new defense. I wonder if Central will build on this past season.Union vs. Richlands really depends on how both teams play. During the whole series, the game could have gone either way. Each time. The first 2 years,. Union kept it interesting and very close, but just couldn't find a way to squeak out the win. The past 3 years, Union has defeated Richlands on the last play of the game in dramatic fashion. 2013 was about to go into OT and Union picked it off and took it to the house. 2014, Richlands had Union down 28-7 in the 4th quarter and then Union rallied to win. Last year was kind of a back and forth affair with a missed PAT in ot from Richlands dooming them. Will Richlands get their revenge or will Union continue to find a way to win that particular game? Ridgeview will have the Backs to compete with anyone in the MD but idk how good the Line will be, they lose a lot and werent great overall to begin with. If I had to rank the teams my list would look just like yours I was going off that assumption and off the assumption that the freshman we saw last year at qb will mature and grow to a fine qb. Union's questions are Qb and who steps up to replace noaks, they return quite a bit of their line, if memory serves me Central qb should have been poty or in the running. They need more around him and a defense. Gate city is the mystery, will they go 2 and 8, or 10-0. Experienced qb and some young playmaker, with a Potential HOMERUN transfer that could swing them to being the best. I just dont really see GC being tremendously better than they were last year. Could be wrong....but I'm guessing it will be another long season.
