EH31 2,514 Report Share Posted March 30, 2016 Graham most likely has Tazewell on 9/2 right? If so, with Richlands playing Union that day then Graham should benefit greatly from that short week. Either way, Richlands is coming off Union and going into a short week looking at Cousin on the other side. Should be a good game. Falcon Mania 235 Report Share Posted April 8, 2016 I have to agree, that's about as tough a start to a season as I've seen in a while ! Couple that schedule with a new HC and possible staff. New Offense, New Defense and the fact that all, if not most of those teams are predicted to be post season caliber teams.

They almost dropped Richlands last cycle. So it could be them dropping us. Haven't heard yet on this end.

Great series in terms of teams, fans, and overall product on the field. Too good to let go. But it was alsmot dropped last cycle. Ryan4VT 4,546 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 I heard that Richlands will not be playing Grundy, Abingdon and Wise Central in 2017-2018 ? Unless Abingdon leaves the SWD, we have to play each other. I'm not sure what the new system will do to districts, but that should be the only way we don't play them. Nothing against Grundy, but I'd rather see us pick up a team that can challenge us year in and out, like the GC, Union, Bluefield games are. I'd love to see us play Giles. I liked the series with Central. That one is a bit of a shock if true.
