Battleborn 16 Report Share Posted October 22, 2016 From what I understand Lee dosent have alot of a offense other than logan Rasnic. Battle has been improving every week and is playing excellent defense. Thoughts? Predictions?
Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted October 22, 2016 Lee's qb, Pendergraft, is a good threat especially with his legs, I'd like to see him at running back. They also have Crusenberry back healthy again and beginning to make an impact. Started to use a couple of others more actively recently. Injuries have bit them. Rasnic is a good, physical runner, and a key part of what they do, they do have some others that can make an impact. I'm curious to see what they will go with offensively against Battle, went back to the more traditional power game against Central but that was probably more due to the conditions. BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted October 22, 2016 Pendergraft can make plays. Assuming all Lee has is Rasnic is a big mistake esp on offense. Pendergraft and the outside WR, #2 maybe? both are excellent playmakers.

Yeah Pennington, he caught Lee's first TD v. Union. Made a great play on a very good cover corner.

I've watched 2 Lee games this year, and #2 stood out both times. Very good athlete. BigWinners
Soccer_Dad 29 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Battle needs to win this one to get a potential good draw in the Playoffs.... maybe even just to get into the Playoffs.
Union_Fan 2,154 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Battle needs to win this one to get a potential good draw in the Playoffs.... maybe even just to get into the Playoffs. Battle can still get in even if they lose their final 2 games, but a win against Lee will almost certainly guarantee a spot. I think this game is a complete toss-up. BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 I favor Battle more so. Lees a solid team, but Battle knows they can win this year and its a big difference just in mindset. They also did well against Collier and GC and he's basically Pendergraft on steroids (not literally an expression) and its at JSB. I'd say its tight, but Battle pulls out a TD win. Leatherhead Larry 530 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 Big emotional drain for the Trojans. It's hard to refocus after losing in the final couple minutes. Lee High snapped their 2 game skid. I honeslty don't know who to pick. I'll say Rasnic scores on a 2 point conversion in double overtime to defeat the Trojans by 1. FalconVoice 38 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 Sounds like some of the Trojans I talked to are down, not on themselves (defensive guys), but on the offense. Feel like they could have won against GC and several other games. Sounds like they listened to the Cardinals' pressers from last night. Leatherhead Larry 530 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 Not good if the defensive guys are pointing fingers at the offensive guys. BigWinners
FEEDTHEBEAST 0 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 If Battle can't run against Lee Lee should shut them down. Generals are big up front and have a bit of an attitude
John Battle sports 11 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 Don't believe they are necessarily pointing fingers at each other. From what I understand they have great unity with each other and it shows on the field. I hear them screaming for each other on the sidelines and always have energy for each other. I believe they push each other to be better. But it's obvious that the offense has to put more points up or even get more plays off I believe I saw that the play difference was GC-79 and Battle-30 that's a huge margin. And the defense was on the field a long time. Very impressed with the defense. But I believe I will take Battle in this one, I believe the offense will get something going and defense do their thing! UniON_FoOtBaLL 68 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 Battle by a slim margin.
V-Cats 472 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 I've still yet to be impressed by Lee*, and JSB is by far the most in-season improved team I've seen in a long time. Battle wins it and clinches a playoff berth, especially since Lee has the long drive to North Bristol to look forward to *With this being said, I fully expect the Generals to beat VHS in two weeks
GC_Quincy 582 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 I wasn't able to go to Lee but Battle played well Friday night. Soccer_Dad
Leatherhead Larry 530 Report Share Posted October 26, 2016 John Battle looked like they were well coached and very fundamental. They came ready to play last week and GC was flat, they busted us in the mouth, no doubt about it. Should be a great game this week. My tip for Battle is to air it out more and my tip for Lee is stick to your man, you never know where the ball might end up. big ugly vol 92 Report Share Posted October 27, 2016 Battle is better but if lee can make it a low scoring slugfest they could win.
fb-fan24263 12 Report Share Posted October 27, 2016 Lee looked more aggressive last week and this week during practice than the rest of this year.... Hopefully our Line has woke up after the thumping we took from Union and Gate City! IMO Lee wins in a close one.
