Lee @ John Battle

Lee's qb, Pendergraft, is a good threat especially with his legs, I'd like to see him at running back.  They also have Crusenberry back healthy again and beginning to make an impact.  Started to use a couple of others more actively recently.  Injuries have bit them.  Rasnic is a good, physical runner, and a key part of what they do, they do have some others that can make an impact.  I'm curious to see what they will go with offensively against Battle, went back to the more traditional power game against Central but that was probably more due to the conditions.

Pendergraft can make plays. Assuming all Lee has is Rasnic is a big mistake esp on offense. Pendergraft and the outside WR, #2 maybe? both are excellent playmakers.

Agreed, Pennington, #2 at receiver, he is a good return man on special teams too.  Good all around athlete.

Battle needs to win this one to get a potential good draw in the Playoffs.... maybe even just to get into the Playoffs.

Battle can still get in even if they lose their final 2 games, but a win against Lee will almost certainly guarantee a spot. I think this game is a complete toss-up.

I favor Battle more so. Lees a solid team, but Battle knows they can win this year and its a big difference just in mindset. They also did well against Collier and GC and he's basically Pendergraft on steroids (not literally an expression) and its at JSB.

I'd say its tight, but Battle pulls out a TD win.

Big emotional drain for the Trojans. It's hard to refocus after losing in the final couple minutes. Lee High snapped their 2 game skid. I honeslty don't know who to pick. I'll say Rasnic scores on a 2 point conversion in double overtime to defeat the Trojans by 1.

Generals 29

Trojans 28

Sounds like some of the Trojans I talked to are down, not on themselves (defensive guys), but on the offense. Feel like they could have won against GC and several other games. Sounds like they listened to the Cardinals' pressers from last night.

Don't believe they are necessarily pointing fingers at each other. From what I understand they have great unity with each other and it shows on the field. I hear them screaming for each other on the sidelines and always have energy for each other. I believe they push each other to be better. But it's obvious that the offense has to put more points up or even get more plays off I believe I saw that the play difference was GC-79 and Battle-30 that's a huge margin. And the defense was on the field a long time. Very impressed with the defense. But I believe I will take Battle in this one, I believe the offense will get something going and defense do their thing!

I've still yet to be impressed by Lee*, and JSB is by far the most in-season improved team I've seen in a long time. Battle wins it and clinches a playoff berth, especially since Lee has the long drive to North Bristol to look forward to

*With this being said, I fully expect the Generals to beat VHS in two weeks

John Battle looked like they were well coached and very fundamental. They came ready to play last week and GC was flat, they busted us in the mouth, no doubt about it. Should be a great game this week. My tip for Battle is to air it out more and my tip for Lee is stick to your man, you never know where the ball might end up.
