I haven't crunched numbers on likely scenarios... but from my first glance observations... I would say the top 14 are safe and locked in.  The winner of Tazewell and Lebanon probably gets the 15 seed and IF Virginia High beats Lee, they would get 16.  IF Virginia High LOSES to Lee, then it will probably come down to Ridgeview and Gretna.  Gretna has an almost SURE win against Nelson County, while Ridgeview has a very winnable game against Honaker.  Could get VERY interesting.  I have figured in that James River will lose to Covington, but if James River wins, then they would get in over Virginia High, Gretna or Ridgeview.

beat Bland... 1a w/4 wins... 16+8=24

beaten teams/result - Glen-W Rad-L RR-W GW-W Giles-W Narz-W, so 5 for 10.

1 for Graham's win... 1 + 10 + 24 = 35 + 183 = 218

that's my take

We were right. I left off two wins last night doing a quick tally. I fell asleep with my tablet in my hand. haha I edited my post after I went back to recheck my total.

Here's how I have 1A West calculated:

1.  Galax 24.22222

2.  Hurley 23.33333

3.  George Wythe 23.22222

4.  Chilhowie 21.22222

5.  Fort Chiswell 21.11111

6.  Parry McCluer 20.33333

7.  Patrick Henry 19.33333

8.  J. I. Burton 17.88889

9.  Narrows 17.22222

10. (tie) Twin Valley and Castlewood 16

12. (tie) Covington and Rural Retreat 15.77778

14. Radford 15.55556

15. Twin Springs 14.44444

16. Bland County 13.66667

17. Auburn 13.11111

18. Honaker 12.77778

19. Thomas Walker 12

20. Eastside 11.8

21. (tie) Northwood and Bath County 11.44444

23. Holston 11

24. Eastern Montgomery 10.33333

25. Rye Cove 8.75

26. Craig County 8.3

Galax should get the 1 seed but it will be VERY tight between Hurley and GW on the 2 seed.  Around the bubble... Bland County should hold on to the final spot as Auburn and Thomas Walker have very little chance of winning vs. Giles and J. I. Burton respectively.  Honaker COULD steal the last spot with a win over Ridgeview.  Bland has Fort Chiswell and should lose.

Honaker vs. Ridgeview is probably the game of the week in SWVA next week.  Both teams MUST win for any shot at the playoffs.

Any way that Graham can outpoint Appomattox for #1, besides Appomattox losing to Amherst?

No. If Appo wins, they will get 40 points from beating Amherst. Graham won't get 40 from Narrows. It will be close, but not realistically possible.

So possibly Honaker wins and makes it in and travels to Galax or Ridgview wins and makes it in and travels to Appo. Sounds like both teams are screwed either way. Lol

Nope. Union's not going anywhere. They are stuck at #5 even with a loss to Battle. It would take Graham or Dan River losing for Union to move up to #4.

Every single one of their riders would have to go their way and ours go against us.

I just don't want Richlands or Graham to have to knock the other out.... was hoping they could potentiall finish 1 and 3 or 2 and 4.... Guess I'll have to hope for an Appomattox loss to Amherst, and Graham finishing 1 and Richlands 3.... for at least a slight chance of a possible showdown between the two in the finals.

I guess a 1 and 2 finish would work as well....if Appo loses and Richlands moves to #2...
