So, what everyone is saying is that Colobro may very well get the job.

With that being said, I will change the direction of this thread and ask the question that everyone wants to know.

Who will get the job in two years after they run him off?

Brian Moore over at TV sure is doing a good job.

Heard there was a unfamiliar face leading the Bulldogs in the weight room today!

Who? Or is it against your nature to say a name. Bc I consistently see your post do nothing beat beat around the bush. And to be frank, particularly to those that are actually interested in this topic, speak clearly or not at all.

If Tazewell has any glory to be squeezed out of it, Nick will get it done, if the kids are willing to listen and work hard.

Very good point.  There are many good coaches who have applied for this job.  Colobro would certainly do a good job.  How far away is he from retirement, however?  How long would he coach anyway?  I have a different take on this, I believe Tazewell needs a younger coach who will be there for a while to build some stability.  If Tazewell only has 30 kids coming out for football, it won't matter who the coach is for the first couple of years.... nobody should expect them to be playoff contenders for at least 3 or 4 seasons.

The same parents who have ran off the past few coaches expect this.

From what I understand, he "officially" retired when he left Gate City and went to TN .  Coaches like Colobro coach until they fall over.  A younger coach to build stability?  How about a younger coach that is capable coming in after Colobro establishes stability.  Colobro will get more kids out, a little coaching goes a long way.  If he is the man, look for marked improvement.
