sixcat 2,913 Report Share Posted November 16, 2016 I don't know much about what local teams have coming back but will share the following. Will Lawrence from Grayson County signed a letter of intent to wrestle at VMI. I don't know the kid personally but he was always the most respectful young man when I refereed/umpired his games before he dropped other sports to focus on wrestling. He is 88-10 over the past two seasons with a state runner-up and state championship at 152 pounds. His respect and manners are what I found most impressive though. It's nice to hear about kids like this doing well and continuing what they love to do at the college level. When I was in school wrestling wasn't a popular sport at all, I barely remember Graham having a program. I got my boys involved in it a couple of years ago and they love it. My favorite part is there is no drama. sixcat

sixcat 2,913 Report Share Posted November 28, 2016 Want to bet???? I'm sure it happens, I just haven't experienced it. Given your BRJGT ties, I am sure there isn't much you haven't seen. GMan
