Hey Ryan idk how much you have seen Jordan kick in live action but if you have seen him compared to what returns on the special teams what do you think his chances are getting the starting job?

They'll redshirt him this year. Our kicker Joey Slye is a senior this coming year. So redshirt Jordan, let him get a year of college weight room under his belt, and then I believe he has the talent to be a 4 year starter at K and maybe even P.

Thanks! For some reason I thoughit Joey was a senior. Seems like he has been there forever!

He has lol. He's been a 3 year starter, and will be a 4 year starter after it's all said and done. Stout will learn a lot from him. Joey's a good kid from every interaction I've had with him. He just can't make a FG past 40 yards. I think Jordan can compete with him there, but Syle is still the master of touchbacks on the kickoff.

If stout is redshirted will he still get to dress ever game..was wondering if it came down to a 50 yrd field goal to win a game and slye hasnt did very good at long fg's could they put stout in to kick it.i know that would burn his red shirt.do you see the hokies coaching staff doing that.

Jordan played in the O-D All-American Bowl at Kennesaw State University last Thursday.  I had planned on going, since KSU is only 20-minutes from my house, but the wife had other plans for me :-).  He was named the O-D special teams player of the year.  I can't find anything on the outcome of the game.  I really wish he picked UT, but it's great to see him going to another solid program.
