Bluefield researcher 1,195 Report Share Posted February 18, 2017 I am working on a project and I need to know what the school colors for Church Hill were. the current middle school seems to use Purple and Gold. Was this the High School colors or something else?

JDHoss 249 Report Share Posted February 18, 2017 Quincy is correct. Navy Blue & Gold. Only old people like us would remember that. Bluefield researcher

Leatherhead Larry 530 Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 Yup Navy and Gold. And the Middle School still uses Navy and Gold not Purple.
JDHoss 249 Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 Church Hill was tough back in the day..lol That they were. I've never understood why Volunteer has struggled so badly over the years. I know they didn't get much in consolidation with Surgoinsville, but neither did Cherokee with Bulls Gap, but they have been at least competitive at times. SXSW 557 Report Share Posted February 21, 2017 I think that culture has always been the problem, I know a few times that some of their best athletes have ended up at D-B. That school system as a whole stays messed up, The principal and head coach they have now will make headway but they are now stuck in 5A football, the hardest class in the state. I wish coach Jones success but it is still Volunteer.
