  1. Today
  2. I referring to the Lebanon situation and QB 1’s family says they are gone if the coach stays then that coach steps down.

Girls & women need to refuse to compete!
  4. Wait what coach got threatened ? I think people are burnt out on the mccamis family. I guess that's the Isaiah they are talking about. Kids only get 4 yrs in high school. A lot more activities to do these day beside deal with one families involvement in everything
  5. There are going to be two duck ponds at the Graham location for the drainage. It shouldn’t impact the homes across the street or cause any runoff affecting properties in the area.
  6. Yesterday
  7. Richlands 8/17 - Princeton (scrimmage) 8/22 - Grundy (benefit) 8/30 - at Gate City 9/6 - Union 9/13 - Tazewell 9/20 - at Abingdon 9/27 - Lebanon 10/4 - at Ridgeview 10/18 - at Virginia 10/25 - Galax 11/1 - Marion 11/8 - at Graham
  8. At Graham, Im not sure what property it would affect. There's are streets on 2 sides, the school is on one side and a big hill that is school property on the other.
  9. Yes. Galax's is the same way. https://astroturf.com/maroon-tide-rolls-on-new-astroturf/
  10. Is it supposed to look like that in the middle?
  11. Runoff is required by federal law to be contained onto the property under construction and cannot, for any reason, encroach upon adjoining properties. As a matter of fact, post-construction runoff isn't permitted by law to exceed pre-construction runoff. It has to be contained (piping, underground vaults, permanent sediment basins, etc.) and slowly released back into it's natural flow patterns. If true, this isn't going to be an engineering issue. It will be a construction company negligence issue. I've seen it dozens of times. Contractors get lazy (or intentionally attempt to cut corners) by not installing proper erosion and sediment control measures prior to beginning construction. The inevitable happens and they attempt to blame anyone and everyone they can. It never works because engineering plans are scrutinized to the nth degree before construction permitting is issued.
  12. Update: Tazewell had a skid steer show up at the field this week. It still hasn’t done anything, but it’s there. Still no work started.
  13. Well, thats one way for their fans to make sure they continue to play at Mitchell Stadium
  14. Anyone else hearing the rumblings of a potential lawsuit in regards to the folks living close to the GHS project and the runoff from said project destroying some property?
  15. It says the file is too big to upload it on here
  16. This... I only pay for NFHS when it's state championship time for football and basketball and immediately cancel afterward.
  17. Thanks. But I was really asking for that specific clip. Not wanting to pay just to watch less than five minutes.
  18. For reality and today's climate, a coach should never place hands on a player in that manner. Regardless if it was his son, nephew, cousin, neighbor, or complete stranger. Physicality of that nature merits minimum suspension and the possibility of termination. Most will say fire him on the spot. Will it slide a little more since Gobble has been successful and a former major leaguer? In all honesty, yes. We all know that it will. But take any other coach in the district, region, or area, and they are escorted of school property in either handcuffs or police presence and "resign" the next day.
  19. Patrick Henry 8/30 Virginia High Home 9/6 Lebanon Away 9/13 J. I. Burton Home 9/20 Grundy Home 9/27 John S. Battle Away 10/4 Rural Retreat Home 10/11 Holston Away 10/25 Honaker Away 11/1 Chilhowie Away 11/8 Northwood Home
  20. Do you have or can you find any sort of link to view this event? For research purposes.
  21. I agree. However, if you notice the kid who was on deck you can see that he also reacted like he also seen the ball come out. There was still zero need for him to run and stand over the runner yelling at him to touch the plate
