Veteran signal caller joins ETSU after spending time at both Arkansas and North Carolina.
For his college career, Criswell has appeared in 31 games, completed 221 of 378 passes (58.5%), totaled 19 touchdown passes, ran for four more scores.
His best season came last fall, which he was UNC's primary starter at quarterback, when he completed 186 of 320 pass attempts for 2,459 yards and 15 touchdowns against six interceptions.

Super League proposal for European football

I don't like it at all. Has the potential to completely wreck the unique league systems within Europe that have consistently produced compelling matchups which truly test the ultimate mettle of champions. Adversely affects promotion/relegation -- which is an other aspect of European football (particularly the English FA) that makes it particularly unique. The selection of the initial 12 clubs appears to be based completely on $$ with no other considerations. New arrangement seems about as compelling as the NFL -- which I rarely watch at all.

To that last point, I'm a diehard Liverpool supporter -- but I don't think believe for a minute that the Reds are truly an elite team on the pitch right now. If anything, they are being included based on a legacy built many years ago. Feels a lot like the ACC selling its soul to get Miami (even though that ultimately benefited Virginia Tech).

Apparently the top German and French teams passed on invitations to join.

So what's the primary argument in favor of the new arrangement?

1. Tennessee did better than expected. For that I am proud.
2. Perhaps Tennessee doesn’t win if that was ruled a touchdown and if those BS defensive PIs weren’t called. The bottom line is those were some shitty calls. It may have cost us the game. But with the shitty 2nd quarter play, that cost the game as well.
3. The NCAA needs to fix some things. Faking injuries. Start making injured players sit out a series or a quarter. If you are doing it every time an offense gets first down then it’s obvious you’re faking it, especially if you’re not doing it during a 3 and out. Also, they need to start fining officials for blatantly bullshit calls.
4. NIL is already beginning to ruin college football.

That said, the two teams were about even yesterday.
