Got to see two D talents on TV this weekend. The QB from Graham, Allen got disqualified on a Targeting call (which I thought was bad, if a QB is going to wait till late to slide then he isn't defenseless). Was cool seeing him out there for Purdue as a true freshman. Also saw Unions, James Mitchell make a big catch for Tech on their win over the Canes. Region C's, Javon Scruggs (Appomattox) made and interception in the end zone and returned it like 72 or 78 yards in a close game for Liberty. Nice to see our VA talent out dong well.

The man did his best & moved on. I’m sorry as can be for getting on here & running him down - it didn’t do anything but make me look like a fool. Only time the man’s name should be mentioned is to wish him well at his new job. I don’t speak for anyone but myself, but I’m thankful for EVERY coach at GC, from LL to varsity. We’re damned lucky to have who we have.

I'll go ahead and say it. Akers was never given full control of the team. I know it's not a popular belief but it is true. He would make decisions only to be told by a couple higher ups it would not happen. I saw some of it first hand. I'm really hoping it don't happen with Jeremy. All I do know now is it will take time.

I don’t think there is among most people. I’ve spoken to many former players, parents, guys he coached with, all say good things about him including Greg Mance. You always have a select few that can’t say anything good about anybody or want to be a douche. As for Mance, I’d say he’s there until he & his wife decide to retire.

Hopefully someone has the video evidence or something enough to get it overturned. Although Dogs were still moving the ball, a huge difference could be seen on defense and kick coverage with him off the field. I want to say that with Jojo our odds were still quite favorable. Without it's a huge tilt towards Richlands. Good thing is this is at home, the crowd will be rocking, and the players will be fired up regardless of who is on the field. New faces started to make some plays and a name ro watch for as well.
