  5. "3A" Division 3 for Graham, not 2A. Graham won 2 titles at the Division 3 level while playing with 1A numbers. Back then, there were 6 levels of classification like there is today, but they were called Divisions. Div 1 through 6. Graham was Div 3. You also had single A, AA, and AAA and in Single A, you had Div 1 and 2. In AA, you had Div 3 and 4, and in AAA, you had Div 5 and 6. Most people used the lingo of Big and Small instead of Divisions when describing a team. For example, Richlands in 1992 was "Double A big," or Division 4. Graham was "AA small," meaning Division 3, biut not to be mistaken as the 2nd out of 6 levels of play. In 1962, Graham had 2A numbers at best (borderline 1A numbers) when they won the Triple A state title, and VA only had 3 classes or levels of play then. From 1970 to 1985, vA still only had 3 classes and Graham was AA and should have been 1A the whole time. Graham had several state semis and one state title loss while in Div 3 in addition to the 2 titles won while in Div 3. In all truth, Graham played not just up for 50 years, but played 2 levels/2 classifications up for about 45-50 years. That's the remarkable part to me in that they truly were borderline playing up 2 classifications from where they should have been. Last of all, how about Tazewell's 86 and Richland's 92 titles. Both would be equal to 4A today as both schools then were 2A "big," Division 4 and VA having 6 classes of play, both schools won titles playing at the 4yh highest out of 6 classifications. That's impressive.

  6. The hairstylist had video proof turned over to legal counsel of Erica opening her “closed” shop multiple times since April. Nancy Pelosi is not a saint. Erica Kious is not a saint. Donald Trump is not a saint. Joe Biden is not a saint.

  7. Stay in 2A and get your guts stomped out by schools that are almost twice as big as you or move to 1A and be at the very top in terms of size. I imagine its VERY good news

  8. I love the outrage on this from the same Republican Party that supports a man who admitted to sexually assaulting women, cheated on his wives numerous times, paid off a porn star to keep her quiet, solicited other countries to help him win an election, encouraged people to drink disinfectant, and tweets like he's 5 year old. This lady got a haircut but you would think she was guilty of war crimes.

I’d prefer to stay alive to watch my infant son grow up and be here for him. So I’ll keep sticking at home for 90% of the time and only going into public for necessities. It’s worked so far.

  10. Governor set the restrictions but point that Nancy Pelosi violating is the story. She can do that though, she can afford 13 dollar pint ice cream and $12,000 each fridge And a nice 91,000 dollar fence/wall. She was on committee overseeing legislation on charge cards and at same time being made available to large amount of VISA stock that netted her a few pennies and all the Raytheon money she takes. Your right she’s one the smartest thieving politicians we have ever had.

  13. BK Addington from GC is a great example of that. Back in the 90s BK played a lot of softball and mens basketball for Hutchins Bros. (this was a story I was told but wouldnt surprise me at all) BK is not a small man. BK had went to the doctor and the doctor told him he needed to watch what he eats and lose some weight. A couple of weeks later that same doctor was playing in a mens league game against Hutchins Bros. He got matchup with BK and BK ran him off the floor. Afterwards the doc said not to be as worried about it as he had alluded to at the check up.

  14. Back to football, Honaker, Castlewood and Chilhowie have released their schedules. Looks like in all cases, their first game is Monday, February 22, and the remainder of the games are being played on Saturdays. In Honaker's case at 1 pm. In Castlewood's case 7 pm.

  15. The BMI is antiquated, my own doctor’s opinion. It’s about overall health and well-being. I’m not saying obese is good by any standard but there are people at normal weights who are far unhealthier than others who may be overweight or obese. I’m definitely not staying inside 90% of the time. Humans need fresh air & sunshine. Vitamin D is key to fighting off illness. I read a lot of Covid deaths , had vitamin D deficiency: I don’t condemn or judge you though for doing what you think is right for your family though. I hope y’all stay well!

  16. Because he knows that masks don't help the spread of viruses. Bacteria yes. I know a person that has been a nurse for 35 years. She has showed me results of lab studies at reputable labs that show masks do not help in the spread of viruses. She keeps these kind of publications for reference. She has them for things such as, "What to do if you come into contact with an AIDS patient." SARS patient, etc. No one has yet to show any lab studies that show masks stop or hinder the spread of viruses. You know why? There aren't any. If you closely look at media stories they quote persons that recommend masks with such quotes as; "We Believe", "It is Likely". "Could reduce", "May reduce", Probably reduce by x percent". Fauci know this and that is why he said in March that masks aren't needed. That is why he said something to the effect that they are psychological.

The fear would be you catch Covid, and you're obese so right there you're +1 and develop pneumonia, then suddenly you're +2 and in trouble. Very reasonable situation and you're taking the proper and necessary precautions and that's all any of us can do. On a side note, a friend of mines husband caught it, both of them and their teenage daughter were of course quarantined and luckily they hadn't had a lot of contact with people outside their immediate family(each other and a few others) because they were taking it serious and social distancing. The response from the daughters boyfriends family was pretty disgusting. Treating her like a leper even after her quarantine period was over, even though she was negative and developed no symptoms whatsoever. Blaming her for putting them and their parents in danger, and these are people who dont wear masks or social distance and fall into the "Covid isnt real" group but when it hit close to home they were hyper defensive toward it and her. The level of pure ignorance out there is astonishing and im honestly surprised, shouldn't be but I am.
