Hopefully last year was an anomaly with Covid. Pretty sure it was power points before that. For example, the year Appo traveled to Union and lost a close game, keep in mind there were two number one seeds, not just one. There was a one seed in Region D, and Appo, the one seed in Region C. Union went undefeated that year in regular season and Appo lost one regular season game. I wouldn't be surprised if Union actually outpointed Appo, forcing Appo to travel to Union. With the Covid Spring, the state title games are/were more centrally located in Virginia, and Region's A and D are closer to the Eastern and Western Ends of the State. This is why they made Region's B and C travel in the semi's I would guess, but don't know for sure.

Good one. I think I counted 6 transfers on the roster. 4 from Mt View, if I'm not mistaken.

Let’s not pretend kids don’t transfer to Bluefield. I know it hurts to be called out, but look how many of those kids helped you win State and you got a Kennedy Award winner out of it.

I think we’re still a year or 2 away from the Giles of old since a majority of our starters are juniors and sophomores.

SWVAgridiron, I thought it actually Did come down to power points, but the exception was this spring due to Covid. I know it used to rotate back and forth for decades, but I think it's power points now..I may be wrong.

Guess we'll see...I'm not going to come on here and claim we will roll them but when Galax isn't making the mistakes they are a solid team and the more practice time they get together the better they will be. Now me saying they can compete with Radford without the mistakes is merely speculation on my part. Galax better be worried about Carroll this week before they can even think about Radford.
