    Graham @ Galax

Graham & Galax have played 7 times since 1940, Galax leads the series 5-2. @Bluefield researcher you seriously have a labor of love with all these stats you’ve compiled.

  2. RH offense gets all the discussion but their defense is phenominal as well. Since this current win streak started they have only gave up more than 21 points only a hand full of times. Twice to Galax, LB, Elkton and Covington.

    Graham @ Galax

I really think so too. For one Graham coming off a win against Union could very easily overlook Galax. And secondly Galax is another team that is strong and will run it down our throat if we don't figure something out on physicality.

    Riverheads @ Tazewell

I’m sure Appo did in 2016. Hell they got a running clock in 11 of there 15 games that season. They could’ve won state in 1A-4A that year

  8. Yep, it happens. Graham I think also had one against Lebanon and maybe even Fort Chiswell a while back. Interesting the Appo fans didn't know it was possible, because in 2 in out of three season from I think 2014-2016, Appo and Chatham agreed to a running clock before the half.

  9. There absolutely is a Possibility of a running clock in the first half. It's Not automatic til 2nd half in Virginia, but Virginia is one of the states having the agreed on Mercy rule at any point in the game (both coaches have to agree if it's done before the half). When the score is a 50 point margin with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter, Tazewell's coach will agree to roll the clock.

    Richlands vs Abingdon

Congrats to Abingdon, and also to Graham for last week. I've been in covid lock down for a couple of weeks, and this covid is no BS believe me. I'm an old man to most of you and I had the vaccine J&J back in May and now I'm thankfull I did. Didn't have it too rough, just oxygen level problems and feeling like getting hit by a 300 pound linebacker, but other than that I didn't have it too bad, except for the elephant sitting on my chest at night, or so it seemed. I'll give God the praise for getting me through, and hope I never have to go that route again. Back to football---Hope the Blues will get it worked out, but the schedule is a killer. Just hope all the games get played, but heard that Bluefield is on remote learning now and no sports, so this weeks game may not happen. Does anyone have any info on this? GO BIG BLUE!!!

Graham by about 3 scores. Galax is a good Class A school, but they don’t have the horses this year to keep up with the speed.

    Richlands vs Abingdon

Heres ya some stats. Before this season, Richlands has only been shutout in 5 games since 2000. The last time they were shut out twice in the same season was 1996. The last time they were shut out in back to back weeks? 1991… when I was 1 year old. 😳

    Week 4 updates

Unfortunately, it could very well end up this way. How are these two week quarantines affecting really good teams especially if they have more than one during the season. We thought spring was bad but it’s worse now. Having to find teams to fill cancellations. Tazewell couldn’t even find an opponent to replace Battle this week. It’s just a never ending crap shoot at this point.
