Helluva game tonight. What more could you ask for?? A well officiated game that came down to the last play. Proud of Richlands for taking Tazewells punches in the sound half and giving a few back and holding on at the end. The Creasey kid is as advertised. He’s gonna be a thorn in the regions side if the Dogs have talent around him. These teams are separated by 3 points in 2021, with both games being barnburners. Glad the rivalry is back. Good luck to the Dogs the rest of the way.

The future is very, very bright. No seniors on Tazewell’s OL tonight. You lose Jared Mullins and Ethan Mills but bring back Cassius Harris, Logan McDonald, and all Tazewell’s RBs. Losses will hit the defense a little harder, but Tazewell will return 6 players on that side of the ball also. Some good looking kids coming up the pipe next season, and they have size. Meanwhile, Richlands loses 19 seniors. I’m optimistic for next year and beyond. But first thing’s first, the Dawgs need to beat Marion to earn a trip to Bullitt Park. I’ve never been there, and calling a game there would be a whale of a treat.

Richlands changed their helmets. The left side had the lightning R, but now the right side has the old early 90’s BLUES on them. Big, big fan.

I agree Ryan. Same to the blues as well! Believe it or not I’ve been known to go to a Richlands game with an R on my hoodie. It’s just all about the rivalry. And when there is a rivalry there is trash talk!😂

Gosh, if I took my b/p I'm sure it's elevated. The first half, rain was the opponent of both teams, but the second half, both Blues and Dawgs were the "cardiac kids" for us viewers. Tazewell has a gem in Creasy. A freshman with that football IQ, mobility and accurate arm, the Dawgs have a good one. Honeycutt for the Blues, what a playmaker he is. Don't know his grade, but I hope he's around for a couple more years. Bandy the difference maker in this game with his leg. Just a great game between two competitive 460 schools. Congrats to the Blues! Best to the Dawgs!

I’m very proud of our guys tonight. It came down to execution, plainly and simply. Richlands’s was better than Tazewell’s by a fraction. That happens sometimes, especially with high school young men. I don’t think that streak will reach 17 again, that’s for sure. Future is bright for Tazewell, and the lumps they take this year will serve them very well next year.

Union’s helmet logo should always use the contrasting colors with the shell color. If the shell is going to be blue, make the logo orange and white. If it’s going to be orange, make the logo blue and white. If it’s going to be white, make the logo blue and orange. That would drastically improve the helmet, imo. Just keep the blue facemask the same with any combo.

That's so great to see bc those two went at it all night. They'd let each other know it when their team made a first down but its great to see it was just kids having fun and not being shitty towards each other

Yeah I watched when I got home as well and there is no possible way you could see if he was in bounds on NFHS the camera moves to the middle of the field. I was 100+ yards away near the scoreboard but from my view it looks like the official came over and picked the ball up off the ground and you can actually see the official bend over for the ball on nfhs as well. I’m not sure the ball wasn’t on the ground just no one could see from stands because of the players around it

I thought they did a good job early getting pressure on the QB but not much in 2nd half. Maybe a little fatigue since we've only played second half once
