I moved from this area... to the richmond area for a few years....I was very shocked at the small number of spectators at some of the biggest and best schools in the Richmond area....very disappointed... was very glad to be back in the football capital of Virginia (SWVA).

I wasn't slighting Union. I was simply going by the higher seed winning method. I agree that Union is no cakewalk. But neither is Union. That 2nd round matchup would be a doozy.

It'll be tough for any game to top Union/Richlands. As for this game, I think Blues win 45-35.

Believe Galax and George Wythe will have somethin to say about that. I'd like to see Hurley do it, they're somewhayb local to me, but I'd have q hard time betting against Galax. They've actually played some very good teams opposed to Hurley whom hasn't been tested.

Hall was out of Gretna after the 2004 season. Doesn't seem like that long ago.

Literally 0 chance Ridgeview would have a AA title of the consolidation happened in 2010. I still don't think folks in Dickenson County fully recognize how great the increase in competition is when you go from A to AA.

Being down 3 starters isint an excuse but you said Central sucked, they are playing 2nd team guys at 6 positions and it has an impact on the quality of team they can put on the field right now. That's a fact.

This is a straight up lie,I was standing on the visitors side ,as I always do.I am a Lt. at the big stone gap police dept and was working the game. For someone to curse your players it would have meant that you got close to the goaline...we know that didn't happen, second the only yelling that goes on are at the refs, and our own kids,they are not drunk as we love to take drunks to jail,yes they are loud and against DAVEY CROCKETT WE THREW A UNION FAN OUT , for his action. Those who say Union fans are bad, I will respect your opinion but its total  fiction. and lets remember it was CENTRAL THAT HAD A SCHOOL "HATE UNION WEEK" last year.I
 I watched the kids after the game, as I always do, great sportsmanship by both teams,MULLINS IS A WARRIOR, and he seems to be a great kid, maybe the adults could follow his lead

Never played in the band (and there's nothing wrong with being in the band, shows you lack any class insulting band members, those kids work very hard) and I was up in the stands not yelling at any Wise kid. Maybe laughing a bit at their overall ineptness, but not singling out any one WC player.
 
And I have four family members playing and played in high school, so your whole argument is a fail.

Im a union an I will admit that there's a few in every fan base that goes too far. But I have never heard of anyone complaining about Union fans we may be loud and sometimes obnoxious but we love our team. An respect the other team no matter who were playing.

I sat amongst the union fans when they played Richlands and never herd anything out of the way. If anything they growled more at Turner than anyone.

I have been really impressed with Graham's Chris Chinault.  He does an excellent job on special teams and on defense when he goes in there.  He has good speed.  He always seems to get by the blockers on special teams and get in on plays.  Very impressed with this young man.  I think he is just a sophomore.  He's not a bad running back either.  Playing behind Cousin and Reed, he doesn't get a lot of touches...but he is yet another player that Graham has that can make big plays, if called upon.

If you didn't attend, you have no legitimate claim to gripe about a ref. Period.

I love players like that, ones that make big plays that help their team win but don't stand out in box score. For Union, #7 is a great player who doesn't get much credit, as well as most of the OL. All the studs get plenty of credit and rightfully so, but every team needs the glue guys, who play smart and make the small plays to win games.
