Well the school board had some really good applications. Needless to say one stood out and was an immediate hire. Since the AD is good friends with the school board members, and he is also the ex-coach, the hire was well thought out but difficult to find. The qualifications appear to be that first he must allow the AD to pick the staff, second he must not know anyone much in the area, and thirdly, and most importantly, he must make the former coach { current AD } look like a brilliant football mind. The new coach is from Cumberland County , TN - home of the Jets. Last year 0-10. Something like 4-37 in the last 4 years. The new coach was the OC and last year the team put an amazing 37 points on the board while giving up over 470. This means that unless every other team they played had a coach like Coach Robbins was at PVH , the offense could not score against the scubs who showed up when the slaughter rule took affect{ if they have it in TN}. I am sure the search was a grueling process because locating such an individual had to have been very difficult if not nearly impossible - however THEY DID IT. For once the Lee County School board has accomplished what they intended . Congratulations. Gonna be a great year to be at Five Star Stadium. Of course one never knows if we are lucky the new couch has fooled everyone and is a BEAST. I hope he makes the school board look like the fools they are and wins 8-10 games. Go Red.

Lee highs coach has shown his true colors. Bench 2 of his best because he can. Neither injured and neither broke any rules , just pissed him off because he is a shitty coach and they know it. Pissing contest at the max. It's okay he will be gone in 3. Never should have got the job but he wast he only applicant.

Lets be honest tho against Lebanon there was no need in caring they geared up for that game weeks ago and for very sad reasons did not play. Lee went into that game thinking about one game and its this week coming up. Or lets hope because if they play dead like they have been they are dead.

You are correct on rasnic being a beast in previous games no doubt. Last week he had 30 carries for about 170 so I think the coaches were saving him for this coming week. I heard through the great vine he was inactive in practice all week with a deep thigh bruise. I think Pendegraph used yesterday as a exhibition for passing to get the quarterback some experience. I see next week Rasnic being a different ball player he's been around for awhile, It almost looked like he knew what was coming next week and didn't seem to put much effort in. There were 2 or 3 punts that he didn't lay out for and i saw him and 21 brady rudd pull up a lot on big hits. And as for the line I was speaking with one of the guys in the box and he said the left tackle had an ankle injury that he shouldn't even be playing on. I believe next week we will see a completely different Lee Team Ive been to 2 or 3 Lee games this year and it seems that they already know they've one the game when they walk on the field.... Lets hope they come out with intensity next week so we can watch a football game at Bullit Park!!

Five star sucks- really. Gate City, Norton, Rye Cove , and Bullet Park suck. Five Star is average but it does not suck., No one has donated a million to make it a Honaker and no tax money has been used to make it more than it needs to be. Come on man- Ridgeview and Wise are a waste of money for the number of students. That said they are nice places to go watch a game. Best entrance down the hill in SWVA.

Noaks suspension kills him.,dalton as,a,sophomore does not help. Collier and rasnic both deserving. Just depends on the politics played at the meeting. Rasnic is not going to get any help from GC coaches. May not even make all conference. All depends on who knows,who and who wants who on the team and how badly they are willing to go to bat for their player. Tough to keep last year's all defensive player and second team all state off the all conference but very well could happen.
