Wow. I'm a Rebel through and through but this kind of talk doesn't make Rebel fans sound very thoughtful. Humphrey is a good back but a D1 talent? The last D1 talent around here played at Richlands and he is at Marshall now. Go watch some of his film. I just think we need to be honest with ourselves and not pie in the sky. This is a winnable game for us. It will be an uphill battle but we will have be firing on all cylinders.

I would love to see us shock the world, but so many things would have to happen for that to come true. We would have to find a consistent passing game. Our O line would really have to step up. Our LBs and DBs would have to make plays and tackle well. We have been very fortunate this year that we are pretty good but teams that we have won against are not. I hope all of these things happen. If they do then maybe we win.

We have a very good running back, a good running QB and a decent line. We have to do what we do well and that is Run the ball. If we are forced to pass a lot then we could be in trouble. We do ok throwing the ball when we want to but not when we have to. Defensively we don't have the big hitters that we had last year but they are aggressive. The small noseguard is very tough and quick and the ends are really good. We cant let their backs get to the secondary. If we play our game and we tackle well defensively, we should be ok.

Congrats to Zack Wright for winning the 182 lb state wrestling title. Zack recently signed to play QB at Bluefield College. Zack has had a prolific career at PH where he broke all of the QB records and medaled in the 4x100 at the state track meet. Congrats to Isaac Wright for being the first freshman state finalist in PH history.

Humphrey is a STUD. Between him and the QB they have accounted for over 3100 yards of offense.

Sixcat, thanks for the heads up. The Rebels throw the ball very well. We have a top shelf QB and excellent receivers. We have had to throw alot this season to loosen up defenses. We had to throw quite abit early against Clintwood, it helped open up the run then our backs and O line took over.
