If the “lack of institutional control” began before b-ball season began how could he be held liable? Seemingly nobody wants to find out the answer to that. 
Thats the whole problem here. You can’t expect any coach to have control over kids at all times. It’s not possible, students were disciplined. Not sure what else could be done. Holding any coach responsible for this is absurd. 
The only people who could want Moore removed are either A) Without knowledge of what happened B) Wanting some unknown political move C) Never want the basketball program to win or D) Still holding some grudge over Pat Jervis not getting the job when the school opened. 
Let the man coach and move on, if something else happens handle it. One issue that possibly carried over from the fall over an entire career is not worthy of removal.

I hope Gate City posters realize what they have accomplished. I am officially calling it: in the previous six months of material posted on SWVASports, they have officially surpassed Abingdon as the "most disliked fan base by their neighbors" in SWVA.

I’m 100% positive this guy is still squeezing into the letterman jacket and heckling teenagers all the while holding popcorn between the knees, a coke under one armpit and both hands full of hotdogs with a cowbell around the neck😄

If the points system is correct, then this is the scenario:
Gate City is locked in at 1 and John Battle is locked in at 4 regardless of what happens Friday.
Wise Central is 2 with a win or a Union loss, Union is 2 with a win.

Battle and Abingdon would be tied at 4 and decided on a coin toss as to who would host their first round tournament game.

SWD seeding is based on power points since Grayson County is in their mix.  The M7 seeding is determined by the regular season champion gets the #1 region seeding.  #2 goes to district tournament champ or finalist if regular season champ also wins the tournament.  #3 is winner of the district tournament consolation and number 4 is the loser of the consolation.
If Abingdon gets to the semis, then the 4 seed goes to the highest regular season finisher of the first round district tournament losers.

I doubt anyone on this board plays basketball for UHS so we don’t win or lose. Those kids (my own included) work their ass off and could care less about some blow hard hiding behind a keyboard talking about whatever glory days they may try to live in. If you come to a message board to get your opinion validated or ego stroked you may need a new hobby.

Boy, over react much? How many votes did you have to get to become president if the Coach Moore Fan Club? 

Central 54 Union 48. Pretty well played, clean game. Union couldn’t get shots to fall late and only playing 5 guys was a big factor. 

I’m not going to name names. I’m an adult and it’s not my place to mention kids, especially kids that have left the program. Anyone that follows Union basketball knows there has been plenty of talent walk away. 

I do think we can run and gun more and still press or trap, Union exerted a ton of energy at GC and seemed okay so I'm hoping with the kids being young and relying mostly on guards, you really just need to rest any big, Falin or Giza for any real time. A 14-15 year old can play 35 minutes without losing their legs IMO. I mean of course little breaks here and there plus halftime, but I believe we can use the weapons Inn the most efficient way if it's an open game.
