The 2015 Richlands/Union game in BSG was the most fun I’ve ever had at a HS sporting event. The whole town was electric that entire week. The park was a very fun place to be that day, starting around 6am. So many backstories, too.

People who know me know how I feel about Central. Being a UHS grad, supporting them normally isn’t an option for me. But MY GOD.

At this point I think the only team that’s gonna be saying “come get some” has a C on their helmet and not a G.

So how is this one gonna be justified? I’m sure we will get a book about how it’s all okay.

I was just thinking that!! This Central team reminds me ALOT of that Clarke County team. Very very very good, but very deceptive. Execution is nearly flawless.

Central is taking it to Tazewell and Tazewell looks like they want none of it.

Graham will win. Union is coming, but we’re not ready yet. Experience can really make a difference this time of year.

Let’s keep in mind that if Wells doesn’t go for it deep in his own territory, Richlands likely beats Tazewell and this is a non issue... just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️

Union is taking their shots this season. Just so young and inexperienced all around and it showed tonight. They’re coming, but it’s still a process right now. The first offensive drive looked really good. After that though.. my goodness.

1. 7 hours is not accurate at all. If you get there 7 hours before a game you aren’t gonna be top 10 in line. 😂 2. for those of us that do that, it has nothing to do with seats. More of living in an area that has nothing else going on and nothing else to do. Some of the best times I’ve ever had has been sitting at the gate. And it has nothing to do with HS football, just spending time with people I enjoy being around.

Interesting to see the “come get some” phrase is making a comeback. One of my greatest memories is leaving Bluefield with a huge “come get some!” Scream after union upset them there in 2019. The look on those Graham fans faces were priceless. I know, I know Graham WAAAY more than paid us back in the playoff game that year. The McDonald’s nonsense that went on there was hilarious. I knew we were in trouble when I walked by some Graham players during warmups and they were singing the McDonald’s jingle, “da-da-da da!.” I’m so glad we have something other than Covid and Politics to discuss again.

Absolutely the right decision. His ceiling is soooo much higher as a WR. No question he is WR1 on the team.
