I just wanted to tell everyone on the Board, Merry Christmas! I hope the peace of Christ find you all well this year and wish you all the Happiest New Year! 2024 has been good to me, we had a new granddaughter in July, Started my dream job in September and my life is good. My New Years Resolution is the become a person who "lifts people up" to quote Kent Sterling. I love hanging out here and enjoy the banter, I hope it never goes away!

Nice job, gentlemen!  Both matchups nearly went to a tie-breaker.   SWVAgridiron and rvtne216 will square-off for the 2024 crown and a year of bragging rights, while Hokiebird7 and Canes00 will battle it out for third place. Just came to add !!!!!! to this post. I don’t think Strasburg could figure out any adjustments that would give them an advantage offensively or defensively against Graham. The offensive plan & play calling were excellent, execution by the players was on point . Defensively, Graham figured out how to combat all that misdirection & had athletes to accomplish it. Strasburg ran into a brick wall against this Graham team. GMen were comfortable on the big stage and lived up to the moment. Strasburg got punched in the mouth. No shame in getting beat in Salem, how many teams didn’t get there but State championship was most definitely played last week at Mitchell. If I’m Tony Palmer, I do whatever it takes to make sure my entire coaching staff returns, high quality coaching team! 
A funny observation, the NFHS announcers said at the beginning of the game, Graham’s key to a victory was establishing a run game 😂😂😂😂. 

I agree. I thought that was going to be the downfall this post season for the G-Men. But when you have athletes and one of the best coaching staffs in the state, you can get it figured out.

I’m hoping the G-Men pack the stands at Salem. I went to Mitchell 3 times this season to watch them play and while it is a huge stadium I was disappointed in the support that an undefeated team is getting. Union’s fan base did actually impressed me when they came to Mitchell despite it being what felt like 10 degrees 

11 seniors. I can’t remember exactly the count of starters on each side but it’s a pretty good number I do believe.
