Dawyot has been officially ruled out for this week, after being reported as "questionable". x-rays showed no break of collarbone as feared. He should suit up and play next week.

Also, will they end up getting frustrated by the physicality, like Goochland did in 2018?

Im not sold on Armstrong. Let's see how they match up with Poquoson (if they make it that far). Heard the same thing about TJ of Richmond a few years back. Yes, they are athletic. Im not sold on their lineplay, which is huge in 2A. King William had a very good line on both sides of the ball to go along with several good athletes and a kid that ran a 4.3 40 in the backfield. If Graham hadn't had key injuries, I think the outcome of that 2021 game would have been much closer. If they handle Poquoson easily. I would be concerned, if they win in a close one, I like Region C or Ds chances.

Don't think its his collarbone. He was lifting both arms up when being looked at when I watched hi-lights. If his collarbone is broken, there is no way he can lift up his arms, I broke my collarbones once and couldn't rotate my shoulder at all.

I say the Patriots will become a Dynasty as long as Brady is at the helm. Manning might get one or 2 Superbowl titles if he is lucky. I would be willing to bet Eli ends up with as many titles as Peyton.

I wouldn't be too concerned about how much it means to the city. I would just plan on playing it at Richlands. But that's me. If they could make a deal with Bluefield High to play it there each year and split the gate or something, that may be the thing to do. Graham could just sit on the visitors side every year, like we did years ago.

Until they build a new k-7 school and move Graham High to Graham Middle and Bulldoze the old school and make it a parking lot.

My bet would be at Richlands. You wouldn't have the 10,000 fans show up. But still a good crowd would travel there and Graham would still receive a good gate. Tazewell County restaurants in the Richlands area would benefit from it. But at least that money is being spent in Tazewell County.

It was the correct "choice". The kids just want to play. I had a choice one time to get ripped off by a phone scammer one time too, but I chose to hang up. Graham has proven that they can be successful, regardless of where they play and that is all that matters. Playing at THS or Ernie Hicks has been a better atmosphere for football, anyway. Both of those are good High School facilities and will be fine until Graham gets their own. Graham isn't the first team to have to play elsewhere until their stadium is built. William Fleming played at PH in Roanoke for a few years....(or maybe the other way around) and they were county rivals.

The kids want their own stadium, the band wants it, soccer teams, little leagues, etc....the only people that dont want it are adults, most of whom have their own agendas.
