So? How many does Graham have?

How many transfers does Graham have?

The baseline is home grown non-holdbacks. Anything else can be viewed as an unfair advantage or manipulating the system.

graham doesnt have any 5th year seniors that i can think of and transfers maybe the qb who was at taz but they couldnt come up with enough cash to keep him. all those boys have been playing together since pee wee

What is up with the Tide ?     Are they for real or what ?   Was GW that good or  CC that bad ?

gw has picked it up. they have a lot of young talent and a sophomore qb who is athletic and plays tough D. Bad thing for the region is his twin brother is the better of the two but is out with a torn pec

I think he’s a Bluefield Beaver fan actually not a Graham person. Didn’t Cam switch in elementary school??? You can’t point fingers at just Graham. Richlands has had their fair share of transfers. Kids go where they feel they have the most opportunities and who can fault any kid for that. Some schools hold back an entire class of 8th graders, that’s their prerogative also.

richlands had a crap of transfer kids, hello pot

    Really?

Let's be honest. This is the first year in quite some time any game with Tazewell has been this relevant. Im like Ryan, I am tickled Tazewell has made it this far and all 3 schools are competitive. Had Harris not been injured last year they would have been a threat then and would have definitely helped them going into this short season. With that said, I'm pulling for Graham and I love the "ribbing". Whether its the parade or the trophy dont take it personal guys cause I fully expect it in return. If Graham loses Saturday after the "want some come get some" chant im ready for the heat yall are gonna throw at me.🤣

yes graham by 21 if not more book it

I don’t think you’re giving Tazewell enough credit. I’m GMen through and through but I realize Tazewell is a real threat not only to Graham but other teams come playoff time. They’ve got size, speed, and well, age, obviously. I’ll be shocked if it’s a large margin by either team. My guess is others know that Tazewell legit but want to rib Dawg fans a little. If Dawgs win, I’ll be first to congratulate them.

how many 5th year seniors does Taz  have playing? 5 or more is my guess

We don't have that weapon with D1 track speed but big up front.  PM looks down for them to my eyes.  This is also their first game and the field is a muddy mess too.  From what I've seen, Narrows should roll through the district.  I think Narrows will do as they usually have done here lately and go until they meet someone who can out athlete them as GW and Galax have done.

well, GW lost their starting QB before the season. Ruptured Pec in non throwing arm lifting in December. From what I hear his twin brother is now playing QB and hes always be the RB/Slot so no experience at QB.
So maybe a down year at GW

Graham lost a lot of starters especially on defense. Bradshaw will be their playmaker on offense for sure but I’d say they have more than just him skill wise. Is it the same level as past couple seasons? Probably not, but to say Bradshaw is all they have skill wise is inaccurate in my opinion.

    well who do they have?

Graham has added some excellent coaches to the staff.  Ronnie Davis and Yubrenal Isabelle this year.  Mike Horton is back as the strength coach (huge for them in the weightroom).  Those kids work extremely hard and are in great condition.  Palmer says this is the strongest team he has had since he took over (in terms of physical strength).  We will see how that translates on the field.  Watching some of the videos out their of their weightlifting sessions, they seem to have some big ol boys  on the line this year.  Add a physical quarterback like Blevins and I believe the runningback may be Reed, who goes about 255 and that's a powerful offense.  Not sure who else is at RB, Reed may not be the main guy, hopefully they will have a change of pace type back, that's one thing that they may lack, but I guess we won't know until kickoff.

I agree this may be the strongest team but its definitely the  least athletic team hes had in years outside of bradshaw. hes really all they got skilled wise.

This is all I have seen in writing about it, it refers to Virginia kids transferring back to Virginia.  The VHSL most likely will not respond to an individual asking such a question, I'll take your word for it.

The fact West Virginia plans to play its regular schedule and so does Tennessee has prompted concerns that players could transfer to those states or go to private schools in order to play in the fall.  Tom Dolan, who deals with eligibility questions for the VHSL said players could do that and be eligible but could not return to Virginia and play spring football.

yes they cant play spring football starting tomorrow if they played this past fall, that is correct. so whats your question?
