I think Giles, Grayson, or Wythe beats whatever region D offers up honestly. I just expected and hoped it would be Giles. I dont think, (other than Giles) anyone on this side of the state doesn't get blasted in the State Championship tho. Giles would have had a punchers chance because of the single wing but everyone else just probably gets manhandled

My hat is off the the Wythe coaching staff! The 2nd time you see the single wing is much easier than the first. Wythe made adjustments and Giles truly is what they are at week 12. Giles doesn't have the same ability to make adjustments as other teams do. I honestly expected Giles representing region C and D in the state game. I dont think that Eastside beats Giles. Sad night to be a Spartan.

Couple of Blatant PIs not called against Wythe so far

A lot to look at here...Giles matches up well against Wythe as opposed to GC. I think Giles can physically dominate them at the point of attack. Adjustments will be made not only by Wythe but Giles also. The weather could potentially be a huge factor as well. Giles can put the ball on the ground at times it seems. ball security is an absolute must especially in a inclement weather type game. Giles 32 Wythe 21

Well, because they are short on officials so bad they'll let anyone do it without a lot of training. They scheduled me to officiate a Pulaski game the 2nd week i signed up and hadn't even taken the test or anything. I absolutely had them find a replacement but who knows if everyone does the proper thing?

Starting to question the validity of these officials? How can 90% of the plays result in a penalty?
