Had a conversation with someone who played for the single wing for Harry Ragsdale in Narrows back in 58 and he said the key to their success was the lineman and their blocking schemes. Great conversation.

Since a lot of teams focus on the spread now a days, does the single wing or wing T play an advantage with giving less preparation?

Have to be careful with bringing people from outside, tendency to jump ship. Unless some sort of ties to the area.

I just wonder if Richlands will go with a veteran coach, or the will they go with another young offensive minded coach.

He is really good. @jonah58I said I think Central could be a dangerous team. Graham and Union isn’t a done deal either. I am not saying tazewell will win. I was saying as a fan it would be cool to see a rematch graham and tazewell. All respect to Central. They got highlight players.

Central is going to be a tough one. They are really fast. 23 is a star for them. They could as well be a team that makes a run.

Traveled up and down 61 many of times, dangerous road. Also with mudslides on 460 now isn’t safe either. Back to football, I would love to see another matchup of Tazewell and Graham. I think Tazewell has a veteran team that has been there before and are hungry to make one last impression on Southwest Virginia. Yes graham won the game technically, but give me another fight... picking the dogs!!

Everyone talked before the game about how the winner moves on and loser will likely stay home. Tazewell wins, and still not good enough..... It’s alright to have a bad season every once in a while. Life moves on!
