I enjoyed the Bluefield/ Ridgeview game.  Glad to see them get out of the SWD and play some M7 teams.  That game this year is at Mitchell stadium and should be a game featuring D-1/ D-2 talent all over the field.

Negative recruiting is a real thing and those who don’t think so are a bit naive.  Palmer is all in to improve his team…. As long as it’s legal.

a kid doesn’t just decide to transfer to a team with a returning all state running back in hopes for more playing time, he was encouraged. That’s why Clements was playing slot at the 7on7 last week.

Not sure of the truth to rumor but I was told any Bluefield player(s) leaving was due to safety concerns  in part to uptick in violence at the school last year. That could be totally bogus but they do have some real discipline issues at BHS. 

Big get for Graham.  Wonder if they promised him any NIL money.  😂   Bluefield is a very good program to just walk away from.  

Connor Roberts of Graham just got a PWO offer from Virginia Tech.

Spoke to Beavers family members recently.  Couple interesting things. My bet is he stays at RV although the Richlands rumors were legit…and, get this…don’t be surprised if he pursues military over collegiate sports.

I was there watching, graham looked good and torched Tazewell a few times and it looked liked Tazewell packed up and when home early not sure why.

Well, the Richlands folks are always gonna give it to you pretty good.  Plus, the board is weighted toward Graham and Union and they see Tazewell as a non-factor.  The other M7 teams just don’t play or know Tazewell and vice versa.  Plus when the Dogs came to Central they got beat up pretty good.  And throw in the pretty vocal pro-Dog fan that throws out superlatives and doesn’t really scout the other players around the region.  That’s probably most of it.  
I think the Bulldogs will be a top 4-5 team in the region….no worse than 6.  Until proven otherwise it’s Graham, Union automatically.  RV has quietly moved into that top Tier and Central has been there the last 3-4 years and won’t drop too far.  Richlands was there but have dropped over the past two seasons.  You have to look at Va High and Tazewell next.

Matchup of two very good WRs!

RV had an average OL at best.  They are big and look the part but When I watched them they seldom drove people off the ball. RV is an OL away from being serious state contenders.  Maybe it gets fixed.  Does anyone know if the rest of RV’s staff is staying or leaving?  I have to go Graham because I think their coaches are much more talented.

Webb is going to Penn and Carson Jenkins (GC) is going to William & Mary. 

Coal Canyon Express. Love the nod to the railroads.  That train logo is cool. In SWVA, the Coal mines get lots of well deserved love historically, but the railroads provided and still provides an equally valuable service.
