Any idea if Auburn, Bland, Craig, or Twin Valley are playing football this Fall? They were not able to complete their seasons Last year.

Anyone know when the host schools officially decide on which day they want to have the game? Not sure if there was some type of Monday-Tuesday deadline for the team to decide if they want to play on Thurs, Fri, or Sat. Of course that is subject to change without (much) notice.

Certainly no intention to trash talk Smyth County., just noticed the combined records and saw that it has been a difficult season for them. Props go out to all three Scott County teams this Fall.

Johnson County H.S. has an enrollment or 625 (which would be classified as 2A in Virginia) while Holston has 280. The Cavaliers already play county rival John S. Battle annually which has an enrollment of 675.

Any idea of what the possible 1D Points / Seeds would be if Wise-Central were to win against Grundy? That is a home game @ Tommy McAmis field for the Warriors.

is Johnson County, Tn still planning to go to Alcoa? I remember the Longhorns were also 2-8 Last Year, but decided to Forfeit their First Round game @ Alcoa. I also heard that Johnson County was possibly adding Holston to their schedule next season; the schools are only 20 minutes apart.

A tough season for football in Smyth County will come to an end Friday. If Graham defeats Marion, Patrick Henry wins against Northwood, & Holston defeats Chilhowie, that would give the county schools a combined 4-26 record with 2/4 of the wins being for Marion and Northwood over Chilhowie.
