I think that you guys are counting out Lebanon too...They are very tough from 103 to about 140, and have a very good 189, and 215 They could be in the running too! It depends on how the pools are set up! Here are the teams: Richlands, Rural Retreat, Graham, Lebanon, JJ Kelly, Northwood, Marion, and Chilhowie best of luck to ALL teams!

just keep in mind...going to regionals don't happen until you place in the top four in your district! A team could easily pick up someone that could beat you in the district and knock you out of the regionals!!!....also keep in mind...just because you beat a person once...that does not mean that you will beat them again!

Thursday night at 6 pm Richlands, Carroll County, and Graham wrestle at Richlands. Should be some really good wrestling!

probably the cash!!! it would take around 12,000 to 15,000 to start a team. the wrestling mat itself is very expensive.

As I said the last time that this was brought up...never gonna happen.

I think the Steelers are back on their game at the right time!!!!! I think that they will win first game against Cinci, then will beat Denver...in the other side of the bracket Indy and NE meets, Pittsburgh and NE in the AFC Championship. If Pittsburgh can get through their "mental block" that they have with the Pats it will be them and Seattle in the SB.

Justin Wilson doesn't wrestle, unless he started this year

The SW District this year??? Carroll County-They are young this year, but they always have talent. They will have Schuster returning, and they also have a Freshman heavyweight that was a middle school state champ Graham-Lost some big names-Walk, Henderson, Peery. They are returning 4 wrestlers who placed in the top six in the region-Holbrook,T.Barreras,Cook,Martin. On their website they have a big list on their roster. Grundy-Lost a few good ones also-Looney,Lee,Penley,Brown. They still have some big horses-K.Stiltner,A.Stiltner, and many more-as always, and also have a few freshmen that will step in. Richlands-Lost Houchins. Still have Jackson-who is a senior, and Simmons-who made a big impact as a freshmen last year. They usually have many athletes that work hard. Tazewell-Still has Wilson-I think he is a senior this year. Also has McDaniel. If they do not fill a squad, they always have tough kids. Any thoughts on the Southwest teams this year?

well, I don't make the schedule! i don't even play for pikeview. Yes, Princeton is on the schedule, Liberty, James Monroe, Iaeger (there are 3 AA teams that usually do very well). Liberty, and James Monroe both ranked in the top ten, Iaeger having a down year, but usually make the playoffs

Boy, that's a nice comment to one of the schools in your county! PikeView did have playoff caliber teams the first few years that the school was open! Just because the team doesn't make the playoffs doesn't mean that those players aren't working their butt off to get a mark in the win column. PikeView may be 1-4, but the players on that team have heart when they take the field!
