Hey Lance, Just a note, JJ Jude from Johnson Central KY is a heck of a football player. I hear the stats they say he had and it was crazy. IDK if this is true, but they said he was one of the top rushers in the country with over 3500 yards rushing and had 560 and 6 tds in one game. 171 is crazy here too. one semi is McClanahan vs Peterson 1 and 2 in AA rankings the other is Jude vs Adams from FC a 2x AAA Runner-up.

TA has been a regular since they "got good". East Ridge has a new team and will be there. Sheldon Clarke has been there since the 80's. And Blacksburg has been there since Humbert was their coach. TA is the only team I think may miss, only due to the coaching change at TA. However, I do not look for them to miss it either. With the date of the Agie Skeens Memorial, some coaches have a hard time. You have to train through the holidays. In the past, we have had teams back out the day before and had teams not show up. We have had a wide variety of excuses for this.

They started a team this season. They are coached by Former Grundy wrestler Matt Slone.

I really didn't think everyone would go so crazy because the man said the "T" word. I hate that Grundy and Richlands won't be playing anymore. I have heard some contradicting statements reguarding us not playing. Coach Rowe has said for years that if Grundy went single A Richlands would not play us. He even told the school board that. However, I was told last week that Coach Mance is upset that Coach Rowe won't schedule Richlands. Mance had said he had tried on multiple occasions, including sending the contract on multiple dates. I was told that Mance even said if he had to he would drop Honaker. I was confused and if anyone can clear it up for me it would be much appreciated.

Lance, The last time we beat Richlands was the '97-'98 school year when Luke Owens was a Senior.

Thoughts and Prayers goes out to the Bergelow Family they lost their home to a fire last night. This is the Family of Tyler Bergelow, running back for Grundy. Please keep them in your Prayers.

I was told a few years ago the plan for Buchanan County was to consolidate Hurley and Grundy high schools keeping Hurley elem/middle open. Close Prater and Bevins and send those kids to Riverview. Then build the "New School" at poplar gap to add to the projects value. The "New School" would then consolidate Twin Valley High School and Grundy/Hurley. They would leave Twin Valley Middle open. The reason to do this is to cut down the uproar when they call the new school Grundy. Then Twin Valley Middle/elem, Hurley middle / elem and Riverview middle / elem will feed the "New School".

Don't forget 11 years and counting for a wal-mart . However it is under construction currently!
