Looks correct to me, like I said I didn't know what other games teams had played in that time span. Possible points left are as follows: GC (Leb 2, JSB 1), Union (Lee 1, Cent. 1), JSB (Lee 1, GC 1), RV (Lee 1), Leb (Cent. 2, GC 2) and Lee (Battle 1, Union 1, RV 1)

As of Sunday 1/30/16 this was what the Lebanon News had for the boys...Clinch Mtn. Conference is using a point system for standings since each team dosent play every other team twice. Con OvAll Pts. GC 6-0 13-3 6 Union 6-1 12-3 6 Battle 4-4 11-5 4 RV 2-4 10-6 2 Lee 2-4 7-8 2 Leb 1-1 4-11 1 Cent. 0-7 3-15 0 Since that date Union beat Lebanon and received 2pts, they now have 8 total, Lebanon beat both Lee and Ridgeview for 4pts, moving their total to 5, and GC beat Union for 1pt moving their total to 7. There may be other games that have been played during that time span that i have missed. I know Lebanon still has games with Central (today) and Gate City Friday both worth 2 pts each, because they only play one time.

I went down to the Science Hill/Maryville Game about 2 weeks ago, it was pretty much like the way the DB/Maryville game went, over in the 1st half! If you haven't had a chance to go down and watch the 6A Tennessee schools play you should. Maryville would beat our best teams in SWVA by the same or most likely worse score than they did DB & Science Hill. As for DB & Science Hill, they play each other at Kingsport on October 30th and if you want to see a big game atmosphere at a High School game you need to go. Nothing we have but maybe the Graham/Bluefield game rivals it as far as crowd goes. The numbers alone put DB & SH out of our SWVA teams level of play. Really to see the talent that is on both sides of the ball is a vast difference from what we see on Friday nights. In my opinion some of our top athletes would not be the top athletes on those teams and a lot would not even start. Sure there may be a few exceptions to that but not many. Some of us like to think our teams good enough to play with anybody, but the truth is they just can't.

That's why I said Friday or Saturday. My guess is that they will move it to Saturday next week just in order to have 5 days of prep instead of 4? Either way its a tough way to go for Honaker. I really don't understand them not playing, having turf, I know you want to respect the fans, but if I'm Honaker I'm pushing to play so I'm not faced with the Raiders coming on 4 or 5 days prep. Could be 2 losses for the Tigers.

If I were Honaker, I would hate to think that I have my 2 toughest games on the schedule, GW on a Monday and then J.I.Burton coming Friday or Saturday of that same week.

What is the Start Time for this game? Which game will be better this one or Honaker/GW?

Grundy at Lebanon 1988, the year Lebanon went 10-0 Regular season and Grundy went 9-1 and both were picked to finish at the bottom of the SWD and the Powell Valley at Lebanon 1990 State Semi-Finals, each had a little over 7,000.

Hey guys at the old Clinch Mountain page how to I get on the new page, it says its not taking new folks?

Grundy played Lebanon this past Saturday at SVCC. From what I heard Lebanon only had 1 starter playing (Compton), the rest are still playing football. Lebanon pretty much did what they wanted from what I've heard? They should be one of the better teams in SWVA this season once they get in shape from football?

But if we could have hosted at Lebanon I beleive we would have? I agree it is a bad set up and it's hard to beleive that the Region D teams voted to do it that way. I really beleive when they voted they did have Gate City in mind and said we don't want to have to play there! If Saturdays game had been at Legion it very well could have been the other way around! I think I heard somewhere that this was the last year it is set up like that and the Region may vote again to either have it a UVA-Wise or at the Top seeds place?
