Facilities matter with today's kids. OHA has quaint, modest facilities to say the least, which used to be charming. Charming isn't in today's teenagers vernacular so, they will have to address that somehow I would imagine. 
But I'm not sure any of that matters if they cannot figure out how to level the playing field in terms of NIL.

Great player. Fun to watch. The best HS all around player regarding his effect on the game from offense, defense, special teams that Ive seen in 5 years. Aside from offense or defense, watching him on kickoff team, he makes the tackle. On punt team, he makes the tackle. Punt return team, he returns it for a TD. Kick return team? He returns it for a TD. Defense? He intercepts it. Offense, he runs it in or catches it. As many have said, hes not a major FBS-power 4 or 5 level D1 guy, but at his level of play in HS, he changed the entire game more for his team than anyone I've seen in 5 years, and that includes Clark at Radford in my opinion. So, if you change the game that much, I call that one heck of a HS player.
If you watch the game with Nitro, no question the WR they had is a better major D1 Prospect. There's no question about that, but the best all around player for that night, on that field, and the most impactful was Mosser, not the D1 WR, and thats why Mosser won the Kennedy award. He deserved it.

Shelby, NC, is one of the best historical programs (for its size) in the United States. Shelby is appearing in title game number 20 today, that's right...number 20. With 3:11 left in the 2nd quarter, Shelby leads Kinston 56-35. Might be a record setting day in North Carolina for total points scored in a title game. 
Shelby, NC, is located in Cleveland County, NC. Cleveland County is also the home of powerhouse, Crest HS, which is also trying to win another title in NC today, and Crest is also a powerhouse. Cleveland County, NC might be (arguably) the best playing football county Per Capita-size for size, on the East Coast.
The game is on NFHS. Its all offense.

Shelby has another Hollifield at Linebacker. Same family as Dax and Jack. History of athletes in that family.
Kinston had its starting QB get hurt late in the first half and has a freshman on the field now. Shelby just scored, makes it 70 to 41 with 3:34 left in the 3rd qtr. That score by Shelby just broke the modern day NC scoring record for combined total points in a state title game.

Didnt know that. Seems like a lot of Spartans go on to have successful coaching careers. Well at least 2 i know of
