  1. It is, he didnt play last season. I added him based on what he does on the court, kid is a tremendous athlete
  2. A few players to watch out for from each school. Ridgeview - Ryan O’Quinn QB, Gabe Hackney RB, Branson Honaker TE/DE Union - Reyshawn Anderson QB/DB, Keith Chandler LB Union, Paul Huff WR Central - Jude Davis LB, Ethan Collins WR Lee - Brynnen Pendergraff QB, Grayson Huff RB, WR cannot remember his name Huff maybe Gate City – Luke Bledsoe QB, Mason Hickman FB/LB Abingdon – Luke Honaker QB/DB JS Battle – thanks for showing up, Mountain Six just doesn’t have the same ring to it
  3. Ive been up for a few games myself. Come playoff time SWVA really comes out to watch good games, you always see a lot of schools represented
  4. I think they graduated a lot. They were region champs last season but weren't a great team, as evidenced by their half state performance
  5. They'll be basing out of the I-Formation, their Freshman class will be the heart of the team so not sure if they'll be running all over teams this season or not.
  6. I dont remember Central being undercenter much last season when I saw them in person or on NFHS
  7. If he gets named on here then they get outed. It's not an excuse, it's decency.
  8. I'd say that's a very good take on the Mountain 7. 1-6 seems pretty even and Battle is helping everyone fill out a schedule. Gonna be some really fun games this season, much like last season but maybe better
  9. And out his wife, the girl involved, etc in the process
  10. True, but there's a politics section on here, There's not one, nor should there be, for people's private lives
  11. "How does a small school program generate such extraordinary funds? Somethings fishy here!" As far as the arrest, imo such legal issues shouldn't be discussed on here. I know where and who but this isn't the place.
  12. Im sure if I lived nearby that id be thrilled to listen to that horn for 3 hours every Friday night. GCs and Giles horns added to the atmosphere, Unions was just obnoxious imo
  13. I always liked to go over and watch that one, really good jamboree
  14. Well I sincerely hope that you've learned your lesson
  15. Turner is going to bankrupt the program buying polos and backpacks for all the coaches 😂
  16. @BandanaVTDavis4321 work with what you have to make the best of the situation? NO no no, better to dream of what could be, complain because things arent the way they were in the glory days, etc. Never mind developing the talent you have and playing to their strengths. Rule #1 as a OC/DC is put kids in a position to succeed, don't ask them to do things they cant do. I think asking the talent R has had to be pass first offensively would violate that rule. Really the rule applies to coaches too, dont try to do things that you dont know how to do. Do what you can for now, go to clinics, buy programs/books, etc to grow as a coach.
  17. rumor would infer that it maybe happened and maybe didnt, he was definitely looking to move, but you are correct it didnt happen
  18. Hes been looking to transfer to a number of SWVA schools, hasnt transferred to my knowledge though.
  19. Imo he might be 200 lbs Edit: a few weeks ago at the VT camp he was weighed at 190
  20. If fourseasonsfootball and my quick review of the sight are correct, Jenkins will be the first opponent that the Bearcats have faced from the Commonwealth of Kentucky
  21. Idk how much it helps LBs without the run threat. The way to beat LBs(well any defender really) is to put them in conflict. I guess there are some benefits pertaining to passing situations but I just dont see a ton of value in it. Imo drills in a controlled setting would be more beneficial.
  22. Unless you are a team that goes 4 wide and throws it 70% of the time Defensive Backs are the only ones who benefit from 7 on 7 imo.
