Hey, BigO. I did, I did, I did got to see Richlands kick Abingdon's ass in football again. And I might get to see it again this year. Don't really want to, but, it would still be fun. And, juss so you know that football ain't my whole life, I drive one of them big yeller buses, and I've had the opportunity to transport the volleyball team and the band around. They pretty dang good, too!!!!!

Man, BigO. The things some folks can infer from poking a little fun!! I DO like Richlands football, BECAUSE THEY'RE OUR KIDS!!!!! Can you conclude from that, that I'm a non church goer? Football is not the center of my life; my Lord Jesus Christ is. But, I don't think He will reject me because I want to see my football kids kick your football kids butt? And we do take football pretty seriously here in Richlands. And, as ole Charlie Brown is fond of saying, "...don't you know sarcasm when you see it?" OH, AND I BELIEVE IN KEEPING SCORE!!!!!

Good news and bad news. According to at least one source, Saturday will be the last of the earth? Good news is that since Richlands plays football on FRIDAY night, I get to see them kick Abingdons ass one more time!!!!!

How or where does the team practice during conditions like this?

How to pronounce it!! I graduated from Deep Creek High School, Chesapeake, in 1957. We played them in football. I called Poquoson this morning and was informed it is pronounced like Pa-ko-son. I told the lady how to pronounce Richlands and she said she knew and that her husband is from Grundy.
